Landing at MIA (Mia International) in a Cessna Corvalis 400 with ATC Audio

I always enjoy landing at MIA when visiting the Miami area. Landmark is a very nice FBO and gives me the red carpet treatment even though I am usually the smallest plane on the ramp.
On this flight, the clouds were low so I tracked the localizer to 8L until I was low enough to make the visual.
I use a GoPro 3 for video and record the audio on an iPad using a custom audio cable plugged into the headphone jack. I mix the two and produce the final video with Pinnacle.

Nice video . . . however, you might want to brief your passengers on observing sterile cockpit procedures on critical phases of you flight (i.e. landing).

I was just curious and I love THE MIA also, I can understand if you were flying a turboprop or a twin. So why not fly to TMB or OPF instead of the extremely busy MIA airport in a single piston aircraft? Based on your video, I assume you have done this a few times.

I've had bad service at the other airports and OPF is in a scarry part of town. MIA is very convenient and although it costs a little more you are treated the same as the jet guys. Atc is easy and departing is quick. I had to wait 20 minutes once at TMB for the tower to get take off clearance.
