As long as you land the attack, it counts. You don’t need to discount it if the opponent doesn’t take full damage. That isn’t in your control.

Also Core Breaker is best used when on the ground, you need to be a specific range in order to land it so try doing that in training mode so you figure out the specific spot

btw to land core breaker just do the stam break combo, then just do the same combo but instead of ur stamina break, use dyspo's one move into core breaker. works 90% of the time
