How precious! The people who have a good heart will always want to do and help the less fortunate, the elderly and disabled. Seems there are so few of them. I am disabled and there are days I just can't go. Live in my daughter's basement apartment and I can't even depend on her on my rough days.

What an awesome thing you did for this lady. I don't think people realize that sometimes us older folks just don't have anybody we can call to come do it. We certainly don't get enough money to pay someone to take care of our yards. This lady, at her age, has probably outlived most of her immediate family if not all of them. Keep up the good work sir. Young man you made me laugh and cry. When you did dances and hugged the bunnies I laughed and at the end when she came to the door and then I saw your reveal, I cried. Breaks my heart she's living alone. I'm an elderly widow woman of 66 years, lost my husband of 41 years 3 and a half years ago. By myself with no help. The pain I go through with my body is hard but what is worse is the loveliness. Even though my son lives a mile and a half away. I rarely see or talk to him. Never checks on me. I truly pray Miss Peggy has people that check on her daily. Had me crying for her at the end. My suggestion is for you to Bless Miss Peggy with the $1,000. I have barely started watching this and I’m already crying like a baby! This sweet lady didn’t know you and couldn’t hear you, but invited you right on into her home. Then you proceeded to tell her why you were there and she immediately volunteered that her age and that she lives alone. She was in the presence of an Angel and she knew it and felt perfectly safe and trusted you implicitly. And then you went out to set about helping her. But for the last several years I got to be there for my mum and dad, mowing their lawn, and maintaining their yard and home. Even during a full knee replacement, and I'm only in my 50's. My siblings blamed me for her cancer, they were never there for my folks. Family are everything. Mum's are the glue.

You are truly a blessing and an inspiration. My husband is 71, and I will be 70 in two months . We are very blessed to have a very good retirement income.
