Man you’ve been publishing here for over 10yrs! Amazing .. I like the new video studio setup .. got both controllers with keys on the side with Bluetooth mouse… seems so difficult to get the right workflow layout I’ve got maschine, theoryboard and other mini controllers and trying to get them arranged - along with the mic mouse keyboard etc Can be a challenge - always feels like Im sort of Locked into an apparatus that once set is hard to modulate

Hey Mann are you direct plugged into your Machine jam into your Machine Software or are you plugged into the rear of your Machine then into the Software.. I ask cuz I can’t get my Jam to boot up from the back of machine .. only boots up into software now .. what hell on earth did Ni do with update ?? I always look around the room. Lol I listen to commercials on the TV. The basketball game commentary, lol I'm very sensitive with most sound around me. Meaning my ears are constantly active looking for song names top lines, concepts etc.

When you changed the tempo did you have the sample stretched in audio or sample mode because it seemed like it was synced to the tempo

I had the first pad in audio mode, so it synced when I sped it up. For the chops, they were in sample mode so I had to time stretch each chop to match the new tempo.

Funny this file labeling thing is an issue for sure. Now a days I just use dates and song key .. it’s not ideal. The sound/track file browsing itself is the problem cause you see the ableton or logic or bitwig track in the finder but unclear to as what the project actually sounds like till you open. Traction renders a snippet of the output which is way way better .. think this is needed for all DAWs
