Used to work BK, they won't microwave your food... but the heat lamp ruins everything. BK fries have a life time of maybe 5 minutes under the lamp before they're disgusting. Whoppers, maybe 8 minutes. Chicken anything, 8 mins. After they've sat for that long, they're DESSICATED under the heat lamp. Which is a shame tbh, the food is really not that garbage when it's fresh off the actual broiler or fryer. Pro-tip, order the grilled chicken. It's almost never pre-made due to low volume, it goes on the broiler so it gets flame broiled, and it comes packed in a lemon marinade so it's pretty decent. BK could honestly be passable if it quit the fast food production style and just made food to order. They can literally churn out like 8 whoppers in a minute, there's just no reason to have them sitting drying under those lamps, and I'll bet most customers would be happy to wait for freshly fried french fries. The chicken takes the longest at 6 minutes in the fryer, but c'mon it's ONLY good fresh. Second tip, if you want to be nice but don't want your fries to be awful, take a look at them, if they don't look too dry, just ask nicely if they'll drop yours back in the fryer real quick to revitalize them. Finally, don't bother with their lettuce. Their onions are really the only decent vegetable you can expect. Tomatoes are average. Legit the lettuce is just some packaged grocery store trash not even a proper head of lettuce, it was bad before anyone even put their foot in it!
