I can't say for sure, but I believe the Festa gift songs are pretty much only performed at Muster and private fan meets because these songs are precious gifts created especially for ARMYs and our Bangtannies to enjoy together to celebrate our Anniversary. It's not that the GP can't enjoy these songs too but by keeping these live performances between us, they remain all the more special in our hearts 💜 Thank you so much for your genuine, heartfelt reactions Landon. The love in your eyes when you're listening to them - it is such a happiness to witness your journey and share these feelings along the way. I think that is also something that BTS gave us - we can see how our faces and faces of other armies soften and show true love and acceptance. They get to sing some of the soundcloud songs, not all of them unfortunately, in some very special/rare occasions, like special stages to Musters or Festa, they never enter on tours setlists or promotional performances (like tv shows) and I personally think it's because they're made as a present to us, so it only fit to these special events.

One of the things about the changing of gender words: A lesson I have learned from being ARMY is how important friendship is, and how much more important I have needed to make it in my life. Pop music and culture pass along these ideas that we need to find fulfillment in a romantic/sexual relationship. I am grateful that BTS has been a model of the importance of 1) loving yourself first and 2) being loved properly - by someone who respects you and supports you. Obviously, BTS has sung about romance, but they have moreso now been singing about just being a human and needing love and wanting love and deserving love. I heard the ladies on BTYes Podcast talk about this recently; about how BTS has empowered them to not feel those pressures that twisted societal expectations place on them. I think it's the mark of a true ARMY when someone not only shows respect for others but also generously loves them. That is what BTS teaches us to do.

I’m so glad you liked this song 🥺 As a non-binary person, it felt so good seeing them start to slowly stop using only ‘girl’ in lyrics. “I Know” was definitely a step forward and then them later in their careers moving onto almost entirely gender neutral lyrics made me super emotional 😭 I won’t spoil anything but it’s been so nice to see their growth and feel included, so it makes me happy to see you feel included as well. As for other SoundCloud songs, there are so many good ones! All the predebut gems, Jin and Jungkook’s covers, Vmin’s 95 Graduation, Born Singer..... Joon’s “Always” holds a special place in my heart too, it feels like something that could’ve belonged on one of his mixtapes if he hadn’t released it on its own. Speaking of mixtapes, I’m super excited for you to eventually get to Hope World and Mono! They’re from 2018 so chronologically it may take a while but they’re so worth the wait. Mono is my go-to comfort cry playlist.

Sometimes RM's singing reminds me of my emo days! Duuude... You'll reach the song Mikrokosmos off of MOTS:Persona. Afterwards, check out "RM's background vocals, isolated" He sings in that same way punk band lead lead singers do, kinda... But mostly, he sings his heart out. You just imagine him on top of a high stage bleeding his feelings out to the word, shouting above the wind.... RM singing _is_ emo, in the best way. I'd love to hear more of rapline singing and vocal line exploring rhythm more, you know. They're always cool

Landon, can’t remember if you actually did HIP HOP LOVER and BORN SINGER. I believe these songs were from Dark and Wild era, and the Live performances were very very emotional and powerful. They only sang it at muster (muster is basically their birthday celebration party) there are always 2 types of muster 1 in korea & 1 in japan that's why there is a Japanese version of the song Btw as usual I am sobbing again just hearing it again it was so meaningful 🥺

Musters are multiple day fanmeetings in Japan and Korea, happens any time of the year. Festa is the 2 week celebration leading to their anniversary date that culminates in a small concert, held in Korea only. This is what Bangbangcon was. Previous years had Prom Party, Home Party, etc. Last year there wasn't one probably because Muster coincided with Festa.
