Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, Reconditioning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig Dozer frame machine.

Really enjoy your vids Rob & Chris, especially this one. I was a heavy plant engineer for Caterpillar from 1976 to 1997. I had exactly the same model as my site vehicle. It was hammered and abused by all and sundry but stood up to it without complaint and I can't remember it ever breaking down. It was truly a machine that Britain could be proud of making.

Great old landy I owned one for 14 years and in 1997 drove it to Turkey and back then went to work in Germany in it, I must admit probably not the most comfortable vehicle for long distance but at least you could fix it at the side of the road, I still have a lightweight land rover and a fex other newer models guess I'm hooked I haven't been without one model or another since 1980, good videos keep them coming.

For anyone remotely interested in cars, this is one the best channels available. Of all my cars over the years, I miss my '62 Series 1 Landy the most. I am honestly going to miss the landy brought back so many memories working on them in the army so easy to work on. You didn’t have any problems with window regulators like on the beetle. 😂. So glad you didn’t do full restoration on her she looks very respectable like she is a good old lady. She will make to proud who ever gets her. I could not do your job I wouldn’t be able to get rid of her. Honestly I would have touched up the Land Rover badge with a baby bud while you had the black paint. But yes you have to stop somewhere. Love the videos cannot believe you nearly have 75 thousand subscribers and going strong. It just shows how good this channel is. Keep it up.

Your very lucky Rob, that's a tailor made radiator muff, ideal in winter , stops cold air passing through the radiator as diesels of that era ran cold in winter, the muff when blanking the radiator off gets the engine warm & the heater will blow warm.. In the 1950's we used cardboard or newspaper or cooking tin foil,

That leather cover is indeed a winter grille cover. Helps the vehicle to warm up more quickly in very cold temps. Standardb kit here. great videos guys, thanks a lot.

Hi Rob. Thanks for doing the numbers. When I was in the trade back in the 80s my gaffer always wanted at least a grand profit in a retail sale. I don’t know whether you give any type of warranty with a sale but even if it’s sold as seen, as a trader you would still have a liability if a guy got the car five miles up the road and it went bang. Many people just see the profit and forget that sometimes things go wrong and you have to pay for a repair. Or even worse, you get one put over on you and are left with a right lemon and are left with a car that’s worth only half of what you paid for it. Anyway, another great video. Keep it up

Superb job! Someone is going to get a nice Landy! Nice to see all the safety aspects covered with the addition of the seat belts and all the work on the brakes, plus the MOT! 8:20 It is a Radiator Muff, Rob. Protects radiator against stones, chipping, gravel, mud etc. Also used to help control airflow allowing you to warm the engine in cold weather. They can also offer protection when puddle wading or fording streams. It's gripped, it's sorted, let's off-road! :)
