Good luck with the project Krzysztof. People generally only see the finished product but it takes a lot of iterations to get things right. Nice diary, you have a good presentation/voice. Curious about the next one.

I hope it will be voice acted and having a similar companion app as ISS Vanguard with the keywords being tracked for each character and so on.. That would make the gameplay truly seamless.

No, he’s actually saying Alf! If you look at the Gamefound Update #1 it is clearly spelled “Alf” in the character sheet. But they sound exactly the same as high fantasy elves, so I don’t know what the difference is. A bit disappointing. I expect more creativity out of AR. 😊

Do You already know how do You plan to deal with various races and professions as the miniatures? Will You make like 10 paladins, warlocls etc or the minis will just show professions without special races?

Hopefully this time the character designs won't be quite as over-the-top silly as in Tainted Grail Kings of ruin. Somehow they all looked as if I had taken LSD. I wish it was a normal fantasy setting without feeling like you're in a fever dream.

Why make a 20 min video about character building where we get to stare at you talking for about 19 of the minutes. The video should have had the camera looking at the character board.

I also think they should let go of AI art, if they have not already done so. It's jarring, like Botox or NFT's. Fake stuff you want no part of.

Don't you know why the do it? less money from the budget they have that is why they start using ai its faster it's less expensive and if you see how the world works it is always paying less and do the most possible work.

That's what I'm wondering. I don't want to pay 300 plus dollars for a game that is going to have shitty AI art they made in a few minutes. And their ai art that they are slapping in the game will be outdated in a year because ai is constantly getting better. And that female knight elf character is definitely ai if you look at it there are a lot of oddities in the artwork where you can tell its ai. Its a shame because this company makes good games.

Totally agree. Not interested in their games with the basing so much of their art from AI-generated stuff. We’re starting to see big discrepancies in character art and miniatures in their recent campaigns, as well as an overall dip in quality of the art. They’ve started to use this “painterly” style everywhere now, which AI finds relatively easy because of the softer details.

​@@skuo118 At a first glance it looks great, but once you analyze the piece a bit there are a bunch of weird things about it. The sword is wonky and not straight, the leather armor has weird patchy pieces of leather on her left arm and the armor design is not consistent where its not the same design on both arms and legs, like you said the horn things are weird, also I think her neck looks a little to thick where it should be thinner for a person of that build but it may just be because of the angle, the belt on her chest does not go all the way around it stops so it wouldn't even work in reality. It overall almost looks like it would be an amazing piece made by a master artist at a first glance but the more you look at it the weirder it gets. I personally think its a bit busy with too much design, characters designs like that are never iconic and well know. A clean simple design with some detail is best in my opinion. My problem also is that this ai art will be outdated by the time this game gets on your shelf. It dates the game in a way. All these ai art board games will be a product of their time and anyone looking at it 5 years from now will be like "That's how bad ai art used to be?".

First off, game looks like it is going to be amazing. However, why are Elfs called Alfs!?! Or elves alves!? Alf is a terrible American sitcom from the 80s.

Because it’s a Nordic name taken from the Nordic mythology. „Elf”word is just a derivative of that.
