I love going over the vast amount of great videos from Simon. I must have watched them thousands of times. It’s also great to watch his journey unfold. This I believe is the first video he done. Simon is the original woodland photographer.

I wanted to mention the mossy bark, and then you noted that. Also, I felt I could say something about the bends in the trunks. However, your perspective fit perfectly. I've only recently found your channel, Simon. I started by cherry picking a few that interested me the most. I enjoyed those, so now I'm watching them all from the start. This one is very good - I've never really considered woodland photography as something I'd enjoy, which is a shame because there's plenty of woodland within walking distance of my house! Normally, the compositional chaos and the colour casts from foliage puts me off doing this kind of thing - but in this video you've shown that with patience, skill and hard grunt work you can make some stunning images. I'll give it a go - but I'm pretty confident that I won't get images like yours!
