Landscape Photography at Lake Konigsee

Lakes Königsee and Obersee are located in the Berchtesgaden national park in south-eastern part of Germany. The whole area is absolutely fabulous and well worth a visit. In this video we'll cross lake Königsee to get to two famous photography locations on Obersee and then continue our way further into the national park to see Rotbachfall - the highest waterfall in Germany.

Wow what incredible scenery! This trip looks like it was utterly amazing. Loved the shots of the hut next to the lake and that waterfall towards the end....WOW!!

Thanks James! Yes, it was indeed a lovely trip but also in a way a learning experience. As photographers, we tend to despise the daylight. And here I was at a location that's beautiful but just not accessible during sunset or sunrise, so I had to try and concentrate on other aspects of photography to get some good images given the conditions. It was very useful actually, and I'm glad you liked what I came up with!
