You deserve a break, Mads! You have put together 7 wonderful videos featuring Denmark. My husband is from Silkeborg and we visit there in the summers. We have been to Himmelbjerget twice, once by car and another time using the Hjejlen boat. It is a beautiful area of DK. We enjoy exploring the forests around Silkeborg. Your photographs are amazing and really show off the beauty of Denmark. Thanks again for the series and enjoy some time to rest.

My grandfather lived in Aalborg in the late '40s. He had so many photos from Denmark. I kept seeing photos of this tower and I wondered where it was. The only clue was that he wrote Silkeborg on the film canister. Sure enough I had found it on google maps and it was Himmelbjerget. Last Spring I made it my mission the follow in my families footsteps and retrace all the places where his photos were taken. Some may say that Denmark wouldn't be their first choice for a photo trip, I certainly would disagree but it does help it holds a special place in my heart. I cannot wait to visit again. I just wish I could stay forever.

The more I see of Denmark, the more I Want to visit. The caves swerve amazing, but my favorite photos are from Sky Mountain, especially, the one with the fog and Sky Mountain monument in the background. For me, that’s a perfect photo. The mood and tone was spot on and it would be a great print. My two other favorites are the Sky Mountain with the different flower colors and the river photo.

Himmelbjerget may not be very high but it is a beautiful “hill” in a beautiful part of the world. It deserves to be called a “mountain”! And if you ride your bike from the east coast of Jylland to Silkeborg, there does seem to be a lot o climbing.

You've every right to feel proud Mads as you have captured your country in some magnificent conditions and have opened up your part of the world for others to share in its beauty. At a time when many of us are restricted in movements and have had travel plans aborted, being able to escape to another country and see it through someone else's eyes such as yours really galvanises the spirit but also a reminder that we can perhaps explore our own back yards more as much as possible during these challenging times. That looked like a sketchy path you sent Sophie on to get the limestone mine shot. She must be a good sport. Beautiful atmosphere but must have been tricky to capture. I went to Sky Mountain on one of my visits to Aarhus. Great memories. It occurs to me that your drone shots of it are views people have never had a chance to see before. I always wondered if that would be a good spot for night photography, with the tower set against the starry sky. Cheers.
