It's definitely an amazing place! Really looking forward to putting some of the other videos together as well, we got off to a slow start with the photography I think, but it definitely came together in the end! It was a good chance to give my new filters a run in as well! Sam.

Beautiful shots.... awesome composition, they were stunning Sam!! And I loved Hannah's photos too.... especially the leaves on the pebbles. Wow!! So happy I stumbled across your You Tube channel! 😊 On to the next NZ video..... 💕

Thank you Angie! Personally, I think Hannah's photo of the leaves was my favourite from our time in Queenstown. We flew all that way, and she knocks it out of the park with one of her intimate shots! This was such a beautiful spot. Thanks for watching, and glad you're enjoying the videos! S.

Hannah & Sam... Just finished watching the 1st part in your New Zealand Vlogs & am really looking forward to the other parts being uploaded. I was lucky enough couple of years ago to visit my wife's relatives in the North Island & travel about a bit & get a sense of scale & beauty of that part of New Zealand... But this has got me seriously thinking I need to visit the South Island asap with its stunning vistas & beautiful mountain & lake scenery. Wow... that was just from your first two days, so the next eight are gonna be epic.. Great Vlogs Thank You for sharing 👏👏👏
@BosePhotography5 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much David. We didn't have enough time to explore North Island much, just day trips around Auckland, including some of the nearby islands. My favourite photos are from later on in the trip on South Island, but the scenery throughout was stunning. H

Hi, thanks for your message. Yes, it's good to do a range of photography: normally for me it's hares, though in NZ I turned my hand to landscapes and (not in the videos) gannets.

Well S&H, I'm not sure I can come up with any adjectives that would quite do justice to that wonderful scenery! It did make me chuckle though Sam, when Hannah took an amazing photo of the distant mountain peaks, followed by you saying "we decided to swap cameras" and you ended up with the long lens:-) I know how those conversations go. Although your long shot was really dramatic, for me, I think Hannah's intimate shot of the leaves and stones was the clear winner for the day. So, 1:0 to the boss so far :-) Really looking forward to following the rest of your adventure. Best, J
@BosePhotography5 жыл бұрын
Haha, thank you Julian! I absolutely agree, Hannah's shot of the red leaves is my favourite as well. I find it really hard to make those kind of shots work, but she has the right eye for it. I think a new telephoto lens has jumped up the list of priorities though since this trip! ;) S.

Really good vlog, some beautiful shots and the scenery looks stunning! That 100-400 looks like a winner!

Thanks Tom! It’s a great lens, unless you want to carry it up a mountain! The mark 2 version is supposed to be a lot better though, I think it’s next on our purchase list.

Great6 opening episode both. Decent images in what looked like testing light, but that scenery is a winner in any conditiojn methinks.... Think Hannah just edged you in the image stakes Sam, her opening with that hin of colour was a bit nice you know ;) Looking forward to the next instalment, the clips shown had you looking a bit emotional Mr B :) atb Alan
@BosePhotography5 жыл бұрын
Haha, yes I did get a bit emotional! That's a sandfly I'm wiping off my face in the intro though Alan, not a tear!!! :) Hannah's shot's definitely trumped mine here (although I think I get my trump card later on in the trip!). I found it a difficult start in Queenstown, especially in the next video where I think I had one of my lowest points in photography, but that's just how it goes with this hobby, swings and roundabouts! Sam.

Hey. Didn't really progress much after that initial haul of Whittaker's chocolate, L&P and biscuits, except the addition of hokie pokie ice cream: LOVE this. We did, ahem, plan to bring you guys some Whittaker's, but, well, it went. Oh and feijoa are disgusting (were you trying to poison me??). H xx
@kezimahl5 жыл бұрын
Sam and Hannah Bose Photography haha that’s no too bad. Feijoas are amazing! The actual fruit is less sour than the lollies but they have such a short season. Glad you liked everything else though!x

I’m trying to figure out when to go to New Zealand - and I’m wondering when you were in Queenstown ?
@BosePhotography4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cindy, we were there in October. We were there right at the end of winter and ended up struggling a lot with the weather. I would have preferred to visit a bit later in the year but I was visiting because of work so didn't have much choice! If you do go though it is an amazing place and is always worth a visit regardless of weather, but I'd definitely recommend timing it a little later in the year if you can! Hope you have a great trip when you do go! Sam.

@BosePhotography5 жыл бұрын
Hey Oddbjørn. Thank you. Hobbits seen: 0; hobbits (wizards etc) quoted: lost count! Not that we filmed that: you are spared our silly antics ;-) H

oddbjørn austevik foto. Haha, Hannah isn’t aware that actually I did film several hobbit related items, maybe I’ll edit them in when she’s not looking ☺️! Actually we were tracking the footsteps of two young hobbits, the spot where we’re sitting during the end screen of this video was their last known location 😂

Hi Stephen, thanks for watching! Just had a quick look at your channel, looks great, particularly like th focus on film as this is something I'm hoping to do more of (I've just got hold of an old 35mm Olympus). Keep it up and I'll look forward to sitting down and watching some of your videos. Sam.
