I'm in awe. What a gorgeous location. We always want what we can't have eh? And having to work with a low tide makes it all the more interesting as you have to work that little bit harder. Stunning captures Izzy, I love those mangrove trees in the water must be gorgeous. We don’t have any mangroves, but lots of old wooden pilings. Again love your captures. ❤️🙏🏻

What a smorgasboard of available compositions ! And you certainly came up with some phenomenal shots. An incoming tide would have been the cherry on the cake but as you said you can't change the tides.

As usual, superb shots, and some extraordinary scenery. Those trees show how determined a life form can be. The colors at around 5 minutes were breathtaking. That beach looked very flat, so the tide coming in would be sudden. Looking forward very much to the follow-up clip. And I've noted the tip about local knowledge, too.

Cheers buddy, local knowledge is key especially travelling so far to location you have never been to before. Besides any local photographers guides or booklets employing locals is the best way to go... you help the economy of real people and not the big names and chains and you get a great service (even if it is a touch unsophisticated). How serendiptitous to have a delayed flight! Just magic to have the low tide making the mangrove shoreline give up its treasures. Everyone else will get the higher tide but you have captured the essence of the place so beautifully and to have it all to yourself as well. I just love those leaning trees framing the boat then another tree. Sublime! Watched twice already and will go again. I so hope you enjoy your time in Bali

Great Location Izzy, you made the best of the low tide' so that was a credit to you. As always awesome images, the two I couldn't separate was one image at 17:00 and the last image. Magical. One can only imagine what the result might have been with high tide, but as you said we make the best of what we have at the moment. Thanks Izzy and enjoy the rest of your stay.

Aside from the next to last image where I agree with you , the tree was bending the wrong direction, getting the tide wrong is absolutely nothing to complain about. The mangrove roots work very well with your silhouette style. The colors and the skies were wonderful. Amazing location. Hopefully you will get the high tide images your were after. Beautiful images as always

Super Izzy ....what a location ! Did you manage a return trip with a higher tide ? The inage with the tree leaning right & the boat to the left ....works for me ,rules are meant to be broken 👍

Cheers Keith, much appreciated. I hired a car and driver... by far the best way to do it. You could hire your own transport but there is a lot more research required to find all the best spots! The main roads are generally quite good, but the side roads are a bit more dodgy and of course the other drivers are a bit mad 😂. I can happily send you my contacts details if you wish.
