Could you tell us how to make custom hedges for Twinmotion? I've been spoiled by Lumion with how hedges can just be made along a path. The best Twinmotion can give me is a fixed geometry hedge that just deforms its leaves whenever I scale or stretch it. Can't we just make geometry in Sketchup and add a "hedge-like" 3D texture to it with leaves protruding? Has anyone done something like that? Sort of like a fur effect on geometry?

Hey Mr. Justin. Thanks for the video. I'm new to TWINMOTION so the video was very helpful. I am using version 2020.2. I don't know if that's the reason but your trees are very different than mine. I like the ones TWINMOTION has in the library currently but if I could expand the Tree & Plant Library with more that would be great. I don't have any of the ones I could see from your library. Is there a pack we have to install or are the trees just different on different versions of the software. I've checked Quixel Megascans but I can't find any complete trees. Thanks again.

Hi Justin, desperately been trying to find out how I can bend hedges. I'd like to place hedges around a roundabout and can't find any way to do it. I would have expected a bending functionality in the scale tool. Alternatively, I would use short length hedges to create a curve. However, I couldn't find a cut tool for objects / the hedges and making them shorter using scaling makes them look too squeezed. Do you know a solution? Ideas anyone? Thanks for all you awesome videos!!, Tim
@Thesketchupessentials4 жыл бұрын
There's a couple ways you could do this - TrueBend - kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKTGmp-ee9mCsLM , FredoScale - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJ_YhH-Pr7Vmbck , or possibly Shape Bender - kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIG3gZmBlryFi7s

How do I make new trees or where do I get new trees and flowers matching the vegetation in northern Europe (Denmark)? By the way... Like your videos and have watched them for years about SketchUp and now for TwinMotion. Thanks a lot for your good work.!

Not really sure on this one - I saw some different tree packs on Ronen's archviz sale page - resources.ronenbekerman.com/

Justin- Need help on the fact that the model looks very crude and low quality from the bat right when i bring it in to twin motion. As far as I know, I have used the exact same model and settings as I follow along with your tutorial video here... any ideas?? thanks for everything you do here!
@Thesketchupessentials5 жыл бұрын
This is probably due to your settings, which are probably auto-set due to your PC. Do your results look better when you actually export an image?
@davidsilverman99335 жыл бұрын
@@Thesketchupessentials I have not yet exported an image out of twinmotion yet. Can you direct me to which setting you are talking about or another video or resource that pertains to this? Thanks!

How do you make the library window stay open after placing an object? Mine hides after placing a tree, which is annoying. EDIT: Nevermind, I've found it. Twinmotion hides lots of options for no apparent reason, which is also annoying.

Sorry - no idea on this one - my library window doesn't do this

So why would you use the border grass only along the borders? Why wouldn't you only use border grass instead of the regular grass to cover wide areas?
@Thesketchupessentials5 жыл бұрын
The border grass seems to be more optimized for the smaller spaces. I assume it's probably a greater performance hit, though I don't know that for sure

The terrain changes as you approach and move away from the scene. When viewed from a distance and up close, the terrain is completely different. How to fix it? Thanks
@Thesketchupessentials3 жыл бұрын
What do you mean "changes?"
@danielkovac24253 жыл бұрын
@@Thesketchupessentials The terrain seemed to be inflated. As you approach, the terrain gets in the shape it was made, but as you move away, the terrain changes, increasing as if it were inflated. Thanks

Hey, Justin. Thanks for the video! I'm getting the hang of it, but the SketchUp direct link is buggy and results in missing faces/missing materials/creation of non-existent faces. How do I send bug reports?
