Mein Gott! What a great idea: use real water instead of funky plastic. And letting guests push logs around gets them involved. Oh yeah, the trains are nice too.

I keep thinking about the time involved .. the skill.. the money !! I can't even begin to venture a guess about the time and money... but the skill is one of an artist who loves their craft! Awesome video... Absolutely fascinating.... thanks !!
@Landsend-Railroad6 жыл бұрын
You are right about the time involved. The building of it is fun and the time does not count much. The maintenance is another matter. As for the money, it is not as bad as it seems. I build many pieces of the rolling stock myself, do my own landscaping and buy and plant only small plants. They grow on their own.

Serious bit of eutrophication going on in that pond! Love the logging boat though. Wonderful garden layout. But this is not Landsend in Cornwall is it? Where in the world are you? Thumbs up and subscribed. Ha! A Jeep on rails! Excellent!

The green algae blooms every summer in that pond. However it does not seem to effect the goldfish. We have about 50 of them and had started with only 4. That was 13 years ago. The present ones must be about 13th generation. No, we are not in Cornwall, but still in a very British inspired area, near Victoria on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Thank you for your kind comments,

Awesome video. so much detail in a garden setting. loved the abundance of frozen in time scenes. Also I had to keep reminding myself it wasn't. 1:1.👍

Anyone else notice how extremely well these tracks are layed? How pleasant the train sounds when not wobbling and skipping on wonky tracks? This is perfection. All I was missing was a cabride... For whoever layed the tracks: 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🌹💫

Thanks, I try. You can have the cabride. Have a look at: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fafShX2Xapyrfbs

Thank you for watching my videos. I have not seen much of Brazil. It has some very attractive landscapes too. Spend a few days in Rio. It was hot and crowded but has many highlights and I brought back some very exiting memories.

Did they make the Union Pacific big boy for this set?
@Landsend-Railroad6 жыл бұрын
I have not seen or heard of a big boy made for the 45 mm gauge. But apparently the smaller sister, the Challenger was once produced in a limited quantity, I believe by Aster.

Where did you buy the little yellow Jeep?
@Landsend-Railroad6 жыл бұрын
I did not buy the Jeep as you see it. I bought it as a toy in a Dollar & Dime Store, took out the friction drive, added a rechargeable battery, a little motor and a belt drive to the front wheels. It runs on the layout as a "Lose Cannon'.
