Those cliffs are extremely unstable and will forever continue to collapse because (as you can see in the video) they are 100% beach sand. There is NO rock, stone, clay, or mud in those cliffs. They are sand and ONLY sand!

I remember back in the early 80's when a PV home overlooking the ocean was a mere $250k(yes minus inflation) back then , a friend of my Dad's changed his mind about home purchase when Civil Engineer and Geologists friends insisted him not buy any properties built up on the Hill of PV because the whole thing is and will be falling into the ocean quickly
