@tonedr is that how you like to run your AER to avoid feedback w/ a vocalist? I’ve only used mine as a monitor for my acoustic, but am interested in adding vocals. Worried that if it’s right behind me it’ll feed right into the vocal mic. Any recommendations from your experience using it for coffee house / wine bar gigs?

thanks for noticing..I don't usually run it like this, your observant! This room was super empty and reverb for days so I was just trying to cut back on that some. Lauren and I use it for most gigs we do these days without feedback problems - a few venues we play regularly it's not quite enough but it blows us away on what size rooms we have used with it and it a lot easier to pack around than a whole system as you well know. Probably the most single impressive piece of gear I've ever used.

I think you right generally...keep the mic behind it some if you can - get it off the ground if you can or tilt it up with something - I've used everything from saltshakers to ash trays, it gets the sound out better to the listener I think. Let your vocalist talk/sing through it and get in front of it - I think they put out more volume than I'm sometimes aware of being so close to it.
