As a person who has struggled with depression for over 50 years, I appreciate and applaud Lane's openness and honesty. People who don't struggle with mental illness usually think those who do are weak and just need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps or pray harder. Thank you sooooooo much, Lane Johnson, for shining a light!!!❤

@ldeckerendry Those who know- know. People are so quick to make judgments. I’ve struggled with panic attacks, depression and anxiety most of my adult life. I am now on an even keel. I appreciate every moment where I feel at peace. No one is immune to experiencing mental stress. I don’t like the term , “ mental illness”. I think that term needs to be retired!!!
@christianwright9053 Жыл бұрын
I agree with you totally far as the term needing to be retired, If people's heart , souls, and spirits are struggling and depressed and sad, that's not illness, it's a hurting of the spirit and soul, yes, there are people who clealry have mental illness, but to just just through a blanket diagonis over every sad and trying time in life isn't an illness, thank you again for your perspective and insight, I totally agree!@@journeylvr

From someone who has battled depression for years, I completely respect and relate to his insight. Not only can I appreciate his vulnerabilities and shining them into this masculine profession, I notice how articulate and intelligent this man is as well. Proud to be an Eagles fan! Hats off to Lane

Lane, you are not a mediocre singer. Your voice is very good and I think you would make an awesome country music recording artist. Pretty Papers is one of my favorite songs on the new album.
