At 24:30 looks like your brakes locked up as you got a little spicy. Does this bike not have abs? How to you feel about the bikes emergency braking performance?
@TryItWithTim Жыл бұрын
Haha I still remember when that happened. Yea man no ABS you really have to be smooth and defensive when riding this thing. You don’t want to have to emergency brake.
@FalconMe Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response. Being able to emergency brake is not desired, but definitely an option id like to have. You feel your lowrider would be able to emergency brake better? I do a similar commute and am looking into a street bob. Thanks again @@TryItWithTim
@TryItWithTim Жыл бұрын
@@FalconMe The low rider can definitely emergency brake and very confident on it. I would say for everyday commuting you’ll want that ABS. The street bob would be perfect especially for lane splitting.

What brand beach bars are those? Did you have to change the stock cables and wires?
@joestreetgliderАй бұрын
What beach bars do you have? Are they wide or narrow beach bar brother
@davehenrikson54593 жыл бұрын
Lane splitting with beach bars SUUUUUUUUCKS. I had them on my Road King and I always felt like I was working overtime to get through traffic. My Road Glide with 10" apes feels super nimble compared to the beach bars. Having said that, nice bike. Get some better scenery for us than the freeway though.
@TryItWithTim3 жыл бұрын
Haha it’s definitely more challenging, I also have a low rider s. Check out some of my other videos for scenery

I wish people moved like that in utah. we can only "lane filter" at stop lights.

Damn, when I was in Arizona it felt so wierd not to be able to filter through traffic and sit there in the heat.

It’s very difficult! I would ride this bike more if it was easier to split ,I’m thinking of what I should change them to next

It really does with those fishtails! I want to put a 2-1 on it though and focus on the performance.

Actually glad lane splitting is not allowed here in Canada. Way too risky.

I couldn't imagine getting around LA without being able to filter. Hows the traffic in Canada?
@bernardlesperance742 Жыл бұрын
@@TryItWithTim I'm in Toronto, which is rated as one of the worst in the world for traffic !
@TryItWithTim Жыл бұрын
@@bernardlesperance742 dang! Here in LA since it’s legal most people are looking out for bikes and considerate. I honestly feel like filtering can be done safely but it takes time to read traffic and get used to. I try to only filter when it’s slow going and I have escape routes.

@@bernardlesperance742 😂 people still lane split in TO bro what are you talking about
@bernardlesperance742Ай бұрын
@@joestreetglider Only a small percentage. The really stupid ones. It's even more dangerous doing so in jurisdictions where it's illegal as car/truck/bus drivers don't expect it and aren't routinely looking out for it. But, hey, you want to do it, be my guest. Just don't go crying foul when you get hit by a vehicle. You'll be the one at fault.
@brianfeeley66923 жыл бұрын
You aren’t smart splitting lanes. You put yourself in danger and other bikers on the road. Not smart
@TryItWithTim3 жыл бұрын
Honestly I’m doing it as safe as I can compared to a lot of riders who blow past me
