Company is Straub Distributing in Orange County, CA. Probably around $75-80K per year working M-F, average 7-10 hours per day, home every night. Drop at big markets and break down the liquor stores so it can be physical at times, just gotta pace yourself. Good work life balance if that matters. If not, then work elsewhere and make more money, but kiss your family time goodbye.

pay lowest for class A, u want 1yr and go class A no touch , here u gotta break down pallets, put them on dollies, sometimes load in basements for old bars, 6am-7pm, all drinking holidays, 4th of july, thanksgiving , new years & superbowl is hell for 2 weeks

Beverage delivery drivers are so under paid it’s rediculous. I worked for Matagrano Inc (Budweiser Dist) for 12 years and I finally left for Recology (Garbage Company) and it’s the best career move I made. Way better pay, health benefits with awesome pension👍🏽

Use these Beverage delivery jobs as as stepping stone. Its real physical work that will break down your body over time, money is pretty good but you'll work some long hours to get there sometimes. Get experience through these companies and leave asap unless you really enjoy it that is.

Damn I make 650 per week 4 days( I get my 10 hours for been vet driver for Amazon ) . But soon I might leave when I finish school. 5 days in amazon I was making 988 per week and I have no kids and I’m single. Also live in Northern California

good for in experienced cdl. 👍 but I did this job for about 10 years. very physical days off are awesome 👌. but have to mention, break down the majority of pallets , using a hand truck. kegs up n down stairs. lots of back and forth, rotating beer, scanning each product at super market. good cdl experience if you need a job. long term you can make the same type of $ in different cdl industry .

I wouldn't recommend being a beverage delivery driver. You have to go to actual stores to make delivery and its tighter driving because your driving through smaller spaces in parking lots amd more prone to hit vehicle and you have to unload and they dont pay as well as a class A driving ober the road

Trucking is not the same as it once was especially financially wise due to the influx of truckers and EPA regulations and emission policies. That’s why most truckers get into the trades to become electricians and plumbers where the money is better. The only college you are thinking of students taking easy degrees like psychology and liberal arts where they can’t find any jobs. I’d tell my kids to take STEM courses so they can find jobs as Doctors, Engineers, and Scientists where they’ll make boat loads out the gate. Trades just like college, you need a plan to make good money. You just don’t show up to class, graduate and he gifted a job out of school. Luckily for me, I got an entry level scientific job that pays decent like an apprentice, and the job would fund my studies so I can move up the ladder and make more.

that's like saying if a cop pulls you over in a regular car and your high 😅 obviously you'll get a DUI . once you get your CDL your a (professional) driver and if you get in any accident the finger is always going to be pointed at you. if you get a hazmat endorsement to haul fuel and you get a ticket your ticket is automatically doubled . I smoked weed for 5 years and I quit almost a year ago . if you want a better life for you and your family and you ain't got much of an education going on for you this is a good career . I've only been driving for a month so that's my 2 cents
