Hi Dave. An absolute belter of a video mate, and great to see you out with the Grand masters of Lake District You tubing Mr Foster, and the Rock Star. What a day you had, some amazing views mate. I must admit I do love Bow Fell. I like going up it via the climbers traverse and the Great Slab, although a route only to be done in the summer when the rock is dry! haha All the best marra Dave

@@daveostlemountainman Thank you mate, yeah we had a belting day on Saturday. Yes I think at the moment it would be more the great slide rather than slab! haha

Great video, Dave, and nice to have company. I think you've developed a close friendship with Billy, you might have in invest in a dog. That was a huge hike, a 10 your marathon, lots of tea and plenty of banter. Super effort. Regards, Ashley

Nice one Dave. Cracking scenery with the clouds and early sun. Did that take 10 hours, in winter? Be good if we could see which pub you go into after.😊

I forgot to say we've booked a stay in Rosthwaite in Feb to do your seathwaite fell walk from a couple of weeks back

Yeah we had a struggled for a couple of hours going down in pitch black but as I was with the experienced guys.. I wasn't ever concerned.. Oh the pint was at home, it was tempting to drink a quick one in the old dungeon ghyll before driving home but i get drunk very quickly so i never risk it haha :)

Great video Dave, was thrilled to see Billy (of a Thousand Hills) and Andy with you. I was lucky enough to meet them last year. How close are you to number 214? I'm looking out for a Binsey video, thinking you're aiming to finish furthest north sometime soon? I think our next walk will be the Mungrisdale one you did recently

aye my Binsey video is scheduled for march and if I hit 500 subscribers by then Ive promised to stand next to the summit in only speedos haha.. Ignore everything they tell you about Mungrisedale common and just let your mind be free, you will see how peaceful and beautiful summit it is!
