Evening Marra. Looked a cracking walk that one. Another forecast pathetically wrong by the weather peeps. I’ve not done Place Fell yet, but people say it’s a killer from the col there between Angle Tarn Pikes. Nice to see Mr Hewitt again. 😀⛰🥾

Grand walk that. If you're an old codger like me you can get those terrific views from Hallin with very little effort from the church. You had a decent day for it. On a hot summer's day mind I reckon there are few better places to spend a couple of hours than on the banks of Angle Tarn.

Aye it's a cracking little spot.. verh accessible walk on the whole to be fair.. seen 3 tents pitching up as we were leaving angle tarn.. very popular camping place.. thanks for watching cheers lad 🙂

Really good video, Dave. Not surprised that you were finished by the time you got to Place Fell; that is one tough climb, but even harder after already walking 10 miles. I've never climbed Hallin Fell on that path before, or Beda Fell as well. You're nearly there! What do you plan doing next? Keep going!

Cheers mal.. aye it's an easy walk but the constant ups and downs drag on ya and take their toll.. probably gonna dip into some multi day hikes.. then probably some munros but nobody watches ma Munro videos Haha.. still good to do. Thanks for watching 🙂

Great video thanks! How long did it take?
@daveostlemountainman9 ай бұрын
Much longer than I expected.. 9 hours in total.. probably could shave an hour off if I wasnt filming etc but still 15 mile of gradual ups and downs take time.. boat ride was worth it tho 🙂
