Vavazelus i have the Wilson brigadier and centurion, the vertec is 1500 and you can’t really buy it for less than that this I can buy for 900.00 is there a 600 difference. From a collector standpoint less of these will be made than the vertec and and once discontinued will doubles as old Wilson’s have as well as previous berettas like the SD.

You will absolutely love this pistol. I ended up getting two Elites because my daughter informed me if I got one she was gonna take it away from me. They come with either fiber optic sights or tritium day/night sights. I prefer the fiber optic (green) for range work. But for EDC, consider the night sights, those things light up nicely in low light.

I have this pistol and sent it to LT for a RDO cut, I have an RMR as the red dot. With bifocals the red dot is amazing, almost as amazing as the gun. I have put 1000's of rounds through this gun and man is it a tach driver! I just love to shoot this thing, it runs like oil on glass. I also have a PX4 Compact Carry with work by LTT, it is my carry pistol. You just can't go wrong with Langdon Tactical, they seem high priced at first and no I am not rich, LOL!! But when you break down other gun smiting fee's and the quality of work, he really is a great bargain. LT had to completely redesign several parts in the upper just to make the cut out work and they are super tough. Great video and thanks!!

Wilson Combat has their version and if you have a 92 they will customize for you. Had my Beretta 92fs compact modified by Wilson and the did a great job. Trigger is amazing. new sights, new mag release, new grips only thing I missed was having the do the decocker mod which I will be doing with them after contemplating that change.

I know the Wilson Combat was like $1295 and the the Langdon was $1398 and the reset on it was phenomenal so going to confirm if it had an enhanced trigger job. Thanks again.

My 8 years in the army and 2 Iraq tours and 1 Afghanistan tour I carried a Beretta m9 as my sidearm. I wasn't a fan myself. I was a 19D Cavalry scout. I just carried mine for emergencies just in case over there. I believe a lot of the armored tanker guys still carry a sidearm as well. But now the P320 is what they carry which I like better but I got out before they switched to the Sig P320. On the M9 I don't like how the decocker is on the slide itself.

@@gsfbffxpdhhdf7043 Yeah, if I was going to get one, the ONLY option I would consider is a decocker-only version. I have zero interest in a deckocker/safety. My point was simply that I've gotten so used to the decocker being located on the frame, that having to reach higher than that to decock would take some getting used to. As it is, the location of the Sig decocker feels very natural to me, the location of the Berette decocker does not, but I suppose that could be overcome with time and training.

I own a 92FS purchased in 1991, and a 92FS Compact (Italian produced) purchased a couple of years back. Only two modifications to both - Wilson Combat slim grips and a factory Beretta D spring. I'd love to own the 92 Elite LTT, but the price is a bit hard to justify.
@johnl.38
@johnl.38 6 жыл бұрын
If you price out what you get it isn't a bad deal at all and it is also a limited production model. The closest you could get to this would be a 92a1 which isn't even totally the same as the other 92 guns. That's around $700, then sights are $100, grips screws and elite 2 hammer are $100, $60 for the G conversion, $150 for the elite barrel, then there are all the features that just cannot be replicated on a normal 92 like the frame which is unique to this model, the front cocking serrations, etc.

Beautiful firearm... however, at this price point I would expect a fully supported chamber. Suggesting that a person would not be shooting reloads in a pistol at this price point is not correct. A person spending this amount of money is actually quite likely to be hand-loading in order to fine tune their ammo to the firearm.

I like this gun very much. I already own a "Beretta 98 FS sportiva", but this one looks a real upgrade of that. I don't like the case though. I like cases where the shape of the pistol is carved in the polyurethane (CZ, Tanfoglio etc) so the gun is really fixed in the case. Another thing that should be improved is the manual... Beretta style for manuals is so sad, with blurry black and white photos. ..you cannot understand one thing of the real weapon. Maybe these things are not important, and it might be I will buy one new Elite LTT trading back my old gun.

Solid review. Too bad about the chamber support. I would think it would have been the opposite. Since the barrel doesn't need to tilt down, I would expect that you could get away with having a much less pronounced feed ramp, and there for almost a completely supportive chamber. I guess not, I haven't shot a 92 in years so I don't really remember what the old ones are like.

It b doesn't have a fully supported chamber, that that just about blew my mind. With a gun of this supposed quality, at THIS price... to not have a fully supported chamber is freaking ridiculous! When you said "when you have a gun like this you're probably not going to be shooting reloads through it,". I almost laughed. The point is NOT if someone wants to shoot reloads, it +p, or +p+! The point is that a THOUSAND DOLLAR PLUS GUN, "might not be up to the task!"

Reminiscent of the Beretta 92G elite with a rail.

My M9’s and 92 Compact we’re perfect from the factory, and dead on at 25 yards. I felt the need to make changes for no reason at all: Wilson Combat 14lb mainsprings WC Fluted Guide Rod on the M9’s Beretta Skelotonized Hammers Beretta Steel Triggers Wolff TTU Trigger Springs WC Combat Rear Sights Beretta Metal Mainspring Caps WC Standard Decocker/Safety Beretta Extended Mag Release. One of my M9’s has a WC Extended Mag Release, but I prefer the Beretta version. The grips were left stock, because I like them better than anything else I’ve tried. I tried the Beretta G conversion, but the right side was too large, and caused my eye to wonder to the rear sight more than it should. It would be nice to have a dovetailed front sight, but I’ve been fine with the factory sight. Thanks for sharing your review!

That is not a standard Beretta case. The standard Beretta case is the cheap little blue case with flimsy breakable clips to close and open it with. The case you have pictured here is an upgrade.

Although a 92/M9 is just about perfect out of the box, these upgrades only add to perfection.

I definitely agree that is a gorgeous gun... but I have never had an interest in the 92 model. Don't know why, it just doesn't appeal to me.

It's the world's most popular handgun cartridge for a reason except for in the third world where it's restricted from civilian use. Have you ever thought about that?
