Nice pistol, I got Bersas are great all of them! In particular the BP9CC.

Iirc a lot of modern 1911's run a titanium firing pin instead of the 80s series firing pin block. Wilson Combat item 336 is stated by them to be "for shooters who want to enhance drop safety . . . "

Very interesting video. I had no idea Bersa manufactured AR rifles. This pistol your reviewing looks to be well manufactured. Impressive product by Bersa. Thank you for sharing this great video. We wish you and Teya a great weekend 😄🙏

I'm a long time Bersa fan and have enjoyed several models of their pistols. I'm slightly curious why they have a US facility, but who cares? They make great guns!

I like that BERSA B1911. One thing I don't like about the BERSA B1911 is that you can get too many rounds on it, only 8 or 10. It would be better If 15, 18, or even 12 rounds. It is a nice piece, and the price Is on a budget I like that. BERSA, you won my heart. Thank you for the video. Have a nice and blessed day. Take care

Nice! BERSA Logo/ Website also seems to align with with their product line - clean design and to the point.

Interesting how they arched the slide release hole in the frame. This was a weak spot on the colt 10mm so colt just eliminated the top on all their 1911s. The arch should make it stronger and less likely to crack.

Did Bersa actually establish manufacturing in the USA or did they partner with an existing machine shop that then changed their name to Bersa USA? Wouldn't it make more sense to manufacture their subcompact 380s in the USA so they don't have to work around the sporting purpose points system?

How is the construction of the slide and frame Forged or cast I didn’t catch if you said that and of course price if it is as much as a colt or Springfield I would buy the name brand

If you carry the gun cocked, the series 70 drop safety is the halfcock catch. Very good system if you carry the gun cocked not so much if you carry it half cocked.
@lighturple4 ай бұрын
That's great for stopping the hammer, doesn't do anything to impede the firing pin from smacking the primer too hard.
@curly__34 ай бұрын
@@lighturple there is no need if using a titanium firing pin.
@lighturple4 ай бұрын
@@curly__3 It substantially reduces the risk, but kind've a moot point when most guns don't come with them (yet) and the average consumer doesn't know there's a potential issue in the first place. Either way, a FPB will always be a safer option.
@curly__34 ай бұрын
@@lighturple FPB's are not safer, they are just as prone to malfunction. I have never seen where a titanium pin failed any test. They're all good systems, just different. Freak accidents are always possible with any system.
@lighturple4 ай бұрын
@@curly__3 I don't understand your assertion - a series 80 is a series 70 with a firing pin block added. You can still (theoretically) add a titanium firing pin to a series 80 gun, there just isn't a need to, because the firing pin is physically blocked. The FPB is an added safety feature, it doesn't remove any safety device that a series 70 already has, as far as I'm aware. Also, was curious myself, so did a quick YT search for titanium firing pin drop tests. Looks like it isn't infallablle, but still obviously much safer than a stock-weight pin.

The only thing i dislike about 1911’s is 45. Acp. It truly is a round that lacks steam and accuracy. 45 acp +P is more like it if I’m using the round.
@GBGuns3 ай бұрын
There are 1911s in other calibers, and even if you go 45acp it's simply a matter of load selection, see my recent test results here: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/are-you-using-the-right-45acp-load-for-your-handgun-s-barrel-length

fun fact, if you guys move to argentina (bersa brand its originally from there) you can still trust bersa in the important stuff, but (there is always a but) aesthetic qc is way worse than in the us. is something that you just gotta know. so if you're planning a Life in the new freedom south american hq, stick to glock or sig if you don't want your piece to get rusty, blueing is a joke in argentinian bersas.
