We really did, the food was amazing, the street art was so interesting and the people there were so so friendly. We had a great time, can't wait to share our next video! Penang Hill was also so so beautiful we really enjoyed visiting there!

We heard this, it would be so easy if it was still running but we actually enjoyed this route and getting to see some of the smaller towns that we probably would have never even heard of otherwisr

Kuala = Delta / Basin, Kuala Kedah = Kedah River Delta Wasn't the train from Kuala Kedah available? It is basically the same train your are catching in Alor Star...😊

No train off Kuala kedah or Kuala perlis, for Kuala perlis the nearest train station would be Arau and Kuala kedah is Alor Setar.

Hey! No we didn't prebook anything for this travel day. Just showed up and hoped for the best haha the ferry leaving Georgetown runs all day so if you miss one or its full you won't be waiting long until the next one

Only the intercity trains have toilets. The ETS train service have toilets and buffet coach. The service that you took is a comuter train .

I can’t remember exactly how long it was but We we got the ferry from Langkawi at 9am and I think we arrived in Georgetown around 3pm ☺️

Wonder why you didn't take the direct route : ferry from Langkawi to Penang? The journey will take about 3 hours max and cost about RM70 per person. Edit : The comment above before I came to the last part of your video. Now I understand, your indirect route cost less for 2 persons - budget travel indeed!!!
