Big fan of tgtb here too. My kids have been using the language arts, science, and history courses for a few years now and we enjoy it! We will be using LA levels high school 1, level 3, and level k in the fall. Love the video (actually all of your videos!).

Really loved the in depth video. I'm in the middle of picking curriculums for September (so late!) So this was a great video while I'm looking around. Quick question, did get TGATB shipped or did you just print the PDF download? Because the books are already bound I was curious! Thank you for the content you produce x

I have always printed and used my comb binder in the past but this year I paid the shipping as we wanted a lot from them and I couldn’t face all the printing this year😆 So glad you liked the video friend and for always being an amazing support! 💛

Great video! I was going to ask this question also!! For my son, we’re also wanting to do level k TGAB and similarly used masterbooks this last year too which we loved and was super gentle but think he’s ready again for TGAB. How long did the shipping take?? Also wanting to just pay for shipping! X

@@shanices9166 oh love that. I’m so excited to start it! Shipping took 5 days! And the shipping was $18-22 which isn’t that much in £ but the more you add to cart the price goes up a little more! Hope that helps💛

Thank you! We do usually take the whole 6 weeks off. We don’t take much off in the year just days here and there so we enjoy having a full summer break but I always long for routine by the end of it😆

Hiya! I usually print myself with my HP envy 5540 and I purchased a comb binder on amazon a few years back and did it myself. I paid the shipping for the new curriculum though to save on time and effort this year. Hope that helps 💛

Hi! Given that TGATB are American, are there many "corrections" or alterations you need to make for the different spellings? E.g. colour vs. color? :) I just spotted the "Mom" in the word list and realised I'd end up correcting to "Mum" a lot!

I was going to add that in description and totally forgot! Yes so I have always explained to both girls that American spelling of mum is different and that we just use a ‘i’ instead of ‘o’ in the middle and they have never thought twice about it. If they see mom they just read it as normal and they’ve never spelled it wrong before. We just correct as we come to it. I wish there were more U.K. options out there, maybe one day! Hope that helps 💛

Do you generally do a lesson a day and does that feel sufficient in helping them progress? I think we need to find something a bit more structured and ‘wholesome’. I’ve noticed a lot of gaps in our 7 year olds knowledge.

Oh yes a lesson a day is more than enough as it is definitely intensive. We started this week and so far every lesson involves spelling, writing, reading, we’ve had comprehension, poetry memorisation and art study already too. It’s a FULL one. I do extra spelling here and there in the week and there’s other writing involved in the day of school but this curriculum has been great this week for all literacy 🙌🏼

Thank you I’ve downloaded the pdf version of the Level K for our 7 year old. That will hopefully boost her confidence and fill any gaps in her knowledge. I’ve got to start thinking about getting our soon to be 5 year old into a learning routine now!
