One important aspect of understanding semantics is understanding the role of homophones in language. Learning about these words can be fun, but it can also be frustrating for students who struggle with general language acquisition. In this video we are going to begin with the basics: What are homophones, and why is it important for teachers to explicitly teach them to our young learners and readers?
