jerriais and guernsey (and sarkese) are not french but normand languages, like cotentinal normand (cotentinais for example)

Is that scots or a scottish accent? I understood most of it but I've heard scots where I could only understand maybe 10% edit ok I just looked it up and I was terribly ignorant. Scots is germanic but has its own grammar, a scottish accent is of course just standard english. I was thinking of scottish gaelic

@@gerald-dw7vp I don't know tbh. I once saw interview with a linguist and he said there was more similarities between Yorkshire dialect and danish than there is between Welsh and Irish
