More of the newer players that got in during the games release should watch this video. Need to watch it for at least four mins however to realize that you don't have to lane all the time as the Map objectives does come up. IE Cursed has the tribute is announced at 2:15 and can be taken at 2:50.

Great video. I generally keep lanes filled early game but I didn't know about the Hero EXP being less before and the same around level 4. I feel people are the worst on Blackheart's Bay. The top two lanes are so close that one of them is usually empty.

You might mention that getting kills with a skill also counts for xp even when not in range. Azmodunk can collect xp (if you get the killing blow) from afar. Abathur can soak xp from his body and symbiote (and killing blows with vile traps). And Vikings can split soak like crazy of course.

You're too good for this stuff. Fire up Fantasy Grounds. Use that high intelligence to help bring back Tabletop RPGing with 5e. After wathing a bunch of your videos, I have a feeling you could do amazing things with Fantasy Grounds. It's really good now, and getting better all the time.

SOAK. I am like yelling this every game. Now for blackheart's bay i can understand the watchtower thing, IF it is for the first like 30 secs since chest spawns at 0:50 so by grabbing a few kills and forcing the enemy to abandon the chests is a viable strategy. Even if they do contest they are missing people which makes it easy.Though there should still be somebody in the bottom lane to grab xp and bottom chest.

Does a lane give X amount of xp per player, or is it just X amount of xp generally? I.e. would 2 people get double the xp from a minion dying close to them?

Adam Jessop There is no benefit to having 2 people in lane :) The XP is for the whole team. As long as one person is in range, the whole team gets the XP. If all 5 people are in range, it's the same thing as only 1 person in range.

Wow Rhykker seriously? Bro the reason to fighter over vision, is vision. Vision is the number 1 most important aspect of any moba. Knowing where the enemy is, or isnt at, to retreat or push is the most useful thing....come on man. As far as fighting before the minion waves, what else is there to do? Heroes is the most tame moba ever made, you should be fighting nearly all the time, there is no punishment not to. You dont need to farm money, and exp is shared. So you should be zoning, and heavy trading, and roaming alot to push the few advantages to ever get in this game, which is exp and minion camps.

Scott Flatt usually vision is important but in a most of the maps, the towers dont offer much, raven map for one is mainly useless. Black hearts bay is just about the only map where its useful and its not useful all the time, and this is coming from a rank 1 player in Hero league.

Some towers are definetely worth mainly against team with 2 stealth enemies, it gives you 2x better chance to spot them before it's too late. But problem is that if you fight the watch tower 5v4 you still can't get the tower and one enemy hero is soaking XPs one should leave that watch tower battle. I gave my self this rule if I participate. Bad is that it's not usual to remember this mechanics to players in correct way, how they work with some messages on loading screen that some never read. And someone can play it in english and don't understand it, it can be just some kid, so it will be always a little problem with such mechanic in lower leagues.
