I think it’s we’ve known, but there’re many interpretations.
eng translation: From the very start, I was at a place that was running out of time I'm waiting here until the pattern of that distant day fades away The breath and beat; the sweat and heat goes along my back Without even realising, I take a breath The air stops I shouldn't say it outloud I'm not to remember it The seasons repeat, leaving the different scents alone Once spring comes, we want to go barefoot, go barefoot To hold your hand so much till it almost breaks Again, the night turns to daylight, turns to daylight It hits the streets I just want to run to someplace that's not here At the very end, it becomes dust and blows away in the wind I stand at that place, that's now so dim and cold There's nothing to worry about There's nothing to make you cry It's just this place (only this place) is where I live so willingly Without a moment lost I'm here right now I see that there's life there What follows is a scenario full of clear shadows and highlights Once spring comes, we want to go barefoot, go barefoot Wave your hand so I can recognise you The blue sky turns to red, turns to red It tells us that it's ending It tells us with only a tiny sound Stay here I have to go back You won't be able to return Please smile Don't leave me To say this now, it's too- It's not too late I know that No you don't But (but) but (but) I'm sure I knew Once spring comes, we want to go barefoot, go barefoot To hold your hand so much till it almost breaks Again, the night turns to daylight, turns to daylight It hits the streets I just want to run to someplace that's not here I’ll just lose someplace else --------------------------------------------------------------------- Eng translation done by me. MV INTERPRETATION IN THE COMMENT SECTION there's no proper exact translation for every language ! this is the way I have interpreted it. I am still studying Japanese however so if there's any misinterpretations feel free to comment :D

t/w: s*icide What is my interpretation of the story? (Edit: I just realised the hair colour is green and not blue XD) Suis is the 'voice' of the blue character, meanwhile Eve is the 'voice' of the blonde. What we know is the blonde character disappeared in the end. 3:45 the yellow balloon flys away, signifying that. Whether he ran away or died isn't certain. The MV starts off with a nostalgic hue. While I was translating the lyrics, the only sentence that showed the past was the first line, 'I was at a place that was running out of time'. This nostalgic hue scene is the blue character telling the story. He says he'll wait there till the 'pattern of distant days fade'. The patterns prevalent in the lyrics are 'day to night' and 'seasons'. In short, time. He's going wait there till his time ends. 0:21 The nostalgic hue tears away and it's bright and clearer. The first line Eve sings is actually much deeper in meaning. 0:28 The 'breath' 寝息 is particularly a sleeping person's. Meanwhile the the 'beat' 鼓動 could also mean heartbeat. 'heat' 熱 could also mean fever. How I interpret this first line is that the 'world' the characters are in is actually a 'dream' . This is further backed by 2:08 when the blonde character closes his eyes. However, this dream is one which you enter while you're in pain. 宇宙の季節 translates literally to Space's Season. Space as in outerspacae, universe etc. Thus, this 'dream' is their space. The dream however, leaves them in awe. The characters are/were suffering from that 'fever'. As the two met, they started to enjoy each other's company more and more. The blue character was hesitant at the start of course, telling himself to not say or remember their meeting. 0:46 The blonde character on the other hand, lets loose, letting the moment flow. 0:54 1:16 As the characters touch the tree, only the blonde character saw a scenery - a place leading outside of the 'dream'. The blue character laments about morning coming and he prefers being in this 'dream'. 1:11 1:38 Cut to their realities. You can see the characters aren't particularly 'happy'. The reality they are in isn't as warm as that dream. The lyrics from 1:55 shows that they aren't suffering from that pain anymore. But they long to go back to that dream, to see each other again. It's the place that they live life joyfully. 2:39 'The blue sky turns to red' Instead of the waking up from the dream, this sentence symbolises more of the dream ending itself. This joy was ending. 2:48 The blue character begs him to stay, but the blonde character has seen the path out. He knows he shouldn't be staying in that 'dream'. But seeing the blue character's sadness, he stays a bit longer. 3:07 To give him a memory but not actually telling him he's going to go. (BEFORE LYRICS WERE EDITED*) 'If it's not here then I'll just have to lose you somewhere' The yellow balloon flies away 'If you're adamant on staying, then I'll just have to lose you' I interpreted it that way as the blonde character did just that. He chose to leave, he chose to lose the blue character. 3:40 (AFTER EDITING THE LYRICS) 'I just want to run to someplace that's not here' , 'I’ll just lose someplace else' I've been cracking my head for the past 10 mins but these phrases are so vague to me that I'm still having trouble. Feel free to comment what you think! Did the blonde character die? 1. Going by how I analysed the whole story, no. The blonde character did not die. He, however, left the blue character alone in that 'dream' world. He discovered the escape and was willing to go. The blue character was not. 3:40 is the same exact scenery the blonde had seen at 1:16. 2. However, as I analyse the points I've written, I came up with a second theory - why did the blue character say that he wouldn't be able to come back? They were in reality 1:38 and were still able to go back to that dream. Unless that park isn't a dream. Everything was actually a reality. It just seemed that way. The tree didn't give him a 'vision'. In fact, it made him question his decisions. That gate scenery at 1:16 was the place he decided to commit s*icide. The scenery looked beautiful but in fact, it leads to what I can only assume is a place that is far down. 1:43, blue character looks uncomfortable. I thought it was because he couldn't socialise. But people were surrounding him, meaning he didn't lack any friends. He looked uncomfortable because he wanted to go to the park right away. He wanted to prevent the blonde character from taking his own life. That's why 2:48 , he begs him to stay. He begs him to live. He ties the balloons there to remind him of their happy memories. 3:42 , the blonde character stares at that spot. The balloon flies. He jumped. The blue character visits the park, 4:17, bending down to pray/give his respects to his late friend. *Edit: I'm wide awake now and Japanese is really killing me. 2:50 The blue(technically green) character actually says 戻れないよ, which could also mean 'I can't go back'. If that's so then my second theory doesn't work T-T One thing's for sure, blonde character left him. If there's anything I missed out, it's because it's 5 in the morning and I spent hours translating and coming up with this analysis XD I hope it makes sense !

Hello, I'm Japanese and I apologize if I'm being rude/offensive in correcting some areas in your translation! The last line is actually "I’ll just lose someplace else" not "If it's not here then I'll just have to lose you" The lines "If it's not here then I'll just run to somewhere else" are also actually "I just want to run to someplace not here" And one small criticism, you said in your theory (which I loved!) that the blue/green character said "戻らないよ" when he actually said "戻れないよ" which is "I can't go back" Again, I'm really sorry for the nitpicky reply, those were just the bigger mistakes I saw🙇Really great work otherwise! お疲れ様です!

Now this is Legendary, Eve, Nulut, n-buna and Suis are all here, sadly this collab song is not well talked enough in the Jpop sphere (perhaps with time it will be popular enough) but maybe at least the Vocaloid community can take note of this since those first three are very popular (even though former) Vocaloid Producers who happen to know each other from that genre.

the theory my friends and i have come up with after discussing for many hours. this is our personal interpretation and it might not be 100% correct but we really believe that there is a lack of evidence of one of the characters dying, so here goes: the two characters are both deeply struggling with something, whether they’re unsatisfied with their lives or feeling as if they don’t belong. they seem like opposites (the blonde haired man is more popular and has many friends, even getting confessed to, while the black haired man seems to be more of a loner who follows the crowd) their shared loneliness both leads them to the abandoned amusement park, where they meet. their differences are shown again when the black haired man tries to leave but the blonde haired man is friendly towards him and invites him to hang out. the amusement park becomes their safe space, where they can express themselves and be together. the black haired guy discovers the hidden sakura tree, which we think is symbolism for the two finding the freedom in expressing themselves. it’s also the first time the black haired man smiles, finally able to be who he is freely. the next scenes implicates their lives outside of the park. the classroom is moody and the classmates’ personalities are obscured. instead, they act as a mob imparting on the two’s lives. for the black haired guy, he seems uncomfortable around his ‘friends,’ which we personally interpreted as his ‘friends’ making a homophobic joke and him laughing along awkwardly. the blonde man is confessed to by a girl, and he acts happy in front of her until she leaves, and his smile drops. he seems tired of his facade at school, and his attempts to seem ‘normal’ is weighing him down. at night, the blonde man attempts to contact the other through text message, but receives no response. they do not connect outside of the park, because that is their only safe space. the two meet again at the park (it’s possible they meet many times at the park, and spend lots of time there). the black haired man seems more reserved, like he’s been taken back a few steps by the comments his classmates made the day before. the blonde man still encourages him, trying his best to cheer him up. when they approach a lake, the two are reflected in the water. the blonde man goes from looking at the water to look at the black haired man, showing that he was ready to move on with their relationship and that he had an idea of their feelings. but the other does not feel the same way, remaining looking ahead out of fear of being judged. when the sun sets, they have an argument. the black haired man pleads the other to stay, while the blonde man says they have to go home, and asks him to smile, but he can’t. this scene can seem as the black haired man’s fear of leaving the place where he can be himself, where he hides his true self. the blonde haired man tries again to encourage him to leave, ie to show his true self in a place other than here, but he can’t. when they can’t come to a conclusion, they compromise by confessing and spending a bit more time together. they take the ferris wheel together where the black haired man catches a balloon. the red balloon is shown to symbolically represent the blonde man, so for a moment he “catches” those feelings. they tie the balloons on the railing to represent their time in the park, and possibly tying down their feelings to it. the blonde man looks back when they’re leaving, as if contemplating their relationship for the last time. his balloon (the red one) is set free, because he is tired of his facade and hiding his identity. he loves the black haired man, but is exhausted from hiding their relationship and his sexuality. so he frees himself in the beginning of the mv, the black haired man returns to the park alone, looking at his reflection which no longer has the blonde man beside him. he visits the sakura tree, and feels deep regret over the fears he couldn’t get over, and as a result losing his love with the blonde man. note: we also considered the time that they can no longer be at the park together is because they are finally graduating from school and will be moving on in life, because it is spring and the season of graduation, and will no longer have a reason to stay together because they were never able to meet anywhere but here.

Love your theory! Also at 3:37, as they tie the balloons and as the blond-haired boy looks back, both Suis and Eve sing the same sentence, but while Suis's voice sounds very hopeful and happy, Eve's voice kind of goes back to a more reserved and almost nostalgic voice. I think it suits the blond-haired character's expression and act of "looking back at the balloons one last time".

I really like the holding hand scene at 3:00 , the way they grasp each other wrist seem so desperate like "don't go!" and the way it recede to holding hands seem so soft like "please stay" which the blonde might reply to "I'll stay". Both in temporary comfort as the blonde seems to not stay for long, but in that moment they comforting each other, after a heated scene, it really feel so calming and somewhat assuring. It's so beautiful.
