How to relieve Sciatica?
The video you are about to see is a continuation of the exercise program to relieve / cure Sciatica that is often used in physiotherapy. These exercises use the principle of neurodynamics. The nerve tissue (sciatic nerve) is thus directly solicited.
The video shows a progression of 6 exercises contained in part B (supine position) in the case of a right Sciatica.
If you have pain in your left Sciatic nerve, you only have to do the opposite of what is proposed.
I invite you to start with part A in case your Sciatic nerve is very irritated (sensitized). You can find the corresponding videos on my KZbin channel or on the website Back and Posture.
Be progressive! It is very important!
Posology :
Exercise 1: 10 second stretch over 5 to 10 repetitions
Exercise 2: 10 movements (back and forth) over 3 sets
Exercise 3: 10-second stretch for 3 to 5 repetitions
Exercise 4: 10-second stretch for 3 to 5 repetitions
Exercise 5: 10 moves (back and forth) for 3 to 5 sets
Exercise 6: 10 moves (round trip) for 3 to 5 sets
