You can tell that the old stuff is hot now too when you see all the vintage style decorations in the stores today. stopped at Kirklands and Homegoods a week or so ago and they have lots of stuff copying the old

Nice to see you post a new video Jody, many thanks! I was happy to learn about the true history of the Corning star lantern. I always assumed they were a patriotic design for WW2, so I wasn't far off in my guessing. I have a few of them but am always on the lookout for more, since us ornament collectors can never have too many! I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a multi color version, as all of mine are solid in the collection.

Hello Jody, great opening graphics you definitely got me thinking of the upcoming holiday season. The thing that always amazes me is how these delicate pieces of art have survived for so many holidays intact. Definitely speaks to the loving care they are afforded.
