I've really enjoyed watching the whole series. i'm not sure i would go there myself with all of the restrictions and to be fair everything looks a bit black & blue. You've done a really good job though!! Is this your first time doing this? I did a 2 day solo camera walk around Betws/Capel recently and that was hard work!! How did you find the evenings alone? i know that sounds a bit personal but that was the only time was bored, the day was done and after a good meal(alone) you've got nothing else to do but sleep. then repeat :)

Hi Rob, thanks for the nice comments. This is my first time doing a video journal of a solo photography trip. The island proved to be a challenge in terms of the restrictions and the search for good subjects in the face of that. In the area near El Golfo, I did find some more intimate landscape scenes that I think would have worked out quite well. It was just unfortunate that whenever I was in that area was when someone would emerge to ask for a permit. I'm considering returning there next year, if I manage to get a permit for national park photography. Otherwise it is, as I said, a very tough area to work and really does depend on some decent light. I know what you mean when it comes to the evenings and simply eating and sleeping. I just made sure I was knackered enough from hiking and photographing subjects that after a portion of boil in the bag spag bol and a glass of red, I would usually pass out without a problem and get enough sleep for that 4am alarm. :)
