I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the Canarian Photo Week and I just need to say one thing here. Those type of workshops and events are not cheap, but spending time with a fabulous group of joyful people united by a passion to explore, create and wake up at 5:30 morning after morning to enjoy beautiful locations and learn with amazing. humble, professionals like Mads and Thomas is priceless and just fills with infinite amounts of energy and inspiration. Huge thanks to you Thomas and all the organisers and participants!

Great comment Grzegorz K.G.! What improves your photography more? Buying a new $6000.00 body, a $2500.00 lens or spend the cash traveling & a workshop. Traveling and workshops are so much fun (oh I do like new camera bodies and lenses as well lol.) Cheer's from Vancouver Canada

We’re off to Lanzarote soon for three weeks. Walking, caving, photography and of course some sunshine. Wonderful island. The most impressive part of this video was your one-take promo read in the driving rain. 😆 Despite your shyness, you're a very good conference speaker. I attended the one you did in Virginia a few years ago, when you had no voice on day 2. Your Day 1 presentation was well worth the trip for me and I took your words to heart. When you said it was still a good idea to start a KZbin photography channel, despite increasing market saturation, I decided to do it. It's made me a better photographer, even if I never approach your level of success or skill. So, don't sell yourself short.

Oh and one more thing. Best thing I've learned there: landscape photography is HARD and EVERYONE takes some bad photos. It rarely just, "arrive, obvious shot, snap, epic picture"; it's about persistence, constant curiosity, and most importantly being on location and being aware, not just about the obvious, but about a myriad of small scenes that can unravel around you

Your videos are my absolute favorites - you always find something quite unique. The second image (@3:04) is incredible and the first question that popped into my mind was how you were able to take a picture from a different planet? The imaginary sky above the sand dunes added a great sense of interstellar wonder. The mud crack was a wonderful find and good of Mads to share it with you. Thanks again for bringing us along on a great day of discovery!

Some people like vibrant images some subdued, that's why we ask get the freedom to like what we want. It's just that often times what we as individuals find most appealing isn't what the people were watching on these KZbin channels are photographing. It didn't mean that the photographer is right and the viewer is wrong or vice versa is just subjective viewpoints from our own personal aesthetic.
