Lanzarote is one of the better Canary Islands. You have the best of both worlds, quiet or noisy which ever you prefer 👍😊 Personally my favourite is Costa Teguise 💕

Been there once as we stayed in self catering apartments. Swimming pool was huge and in fact there was several pools to choose from. I loved it.

just back from a week in PDC. we were in Hyde Park Lane at the top end, the weather was amazing, really enjoyed it and there is plenty to do. its a realy nice walk along the beach front. it wasnt too busy but still lots of people out and about at night. and yeah the night time landing over the sea did make me a bit nervous 😃back in April for some more sunshine.

That was a fab walk Tim so many shops open in Lanzarote. I would be so excited if I could be in a place like that. Unfortunately I don't have many opportunities to go abroad but really felt the life of a night out in Lanzarote there. Hope your Indian Pub Grub is as good as the walk it's very well deserved!

We were in a Canaries cruise a couple of weeks back and when we got to Lanzarote the rain was so heavy we didn’t get off the ship. Looks like we missed a lot. The plus side is we now need to do another cruise to there to get to look around in persok

You always seem to visit places i went as a child 23years ago lol I Went to lanzarote when I was 8 years old with mum two sisters Nan and grandad and aunty and uncle and their 6 month old flew with Airtours on a Boeing 747 first ever holiday abroad. I remember beach being scolding HOT. We stayed in matagorda at SOL LANZAROTE on the beach front infact you walked passed it and all sunbeds on beach at just 5 min walk down seafront from airport had sea view room remember looking at ships in distance and Grandad pretending they we pirate's lol. Thankyou for bringing memories back to me its wonderfull what you do even if you are just reviewing it also helps with memories too.

Taxis are expensive over there I remember that the one good thing I did get some nice Moroccan hashish when I was there in Costa te guise I wouldn't recommend there though it's expensive for 💩 food really enjoy your trip 👍🙏

Hi Tim. I’ve been to Lanzarotie before it’s such a nice place. Gorgeous beaches and places to eat and drink. There used to be a bar called Lively Ladies once where they had blokes performing a hilarious drag show. Unfortunately it closed but I think it’s under a different name now.

Yes the volcano is called mount timanfaya. You should have gone to the timanfaya national park. That is where they cook the food using mount timanfaya.

@@WalkWithMeTim Brilliant. I went once and loved it. Just one thing for anybody going to lanzarote, don’t put your bare feet on the floor outside and that includes on the beach, with it being volcanic that floor hurts. I forgot about that one when we went back in 2019 and put my bare feet down on the floor and then went oh yeah, hot floor cheers timanfaya for the reminder. Dipped my feet in the pool to cool them as it did hurt.

Actually Patrick, Matagorda and Los Pocillos are both urbanised regions within the town of PdC. And PdC is one of the seven towns within the Municipality of Tías, the other six being Tías itself, together with La Asomada, Mácher, Conil, Masdache and Vega de Tegoyo.
