Perhaps you should re-iterate the need for extra sun protection between April to September when the peak UV index is typically 12 in the Canaries. This is double the intensity that we get in midsummer in the UK and around 30% more than the 8 or 9 in the Mediterranean over summer.

Hi Mike when you spoke about uv rays and sun block, a few years ago a gentleman in the aloe vera shop in PDC give us a great tip before using suntan lotion put aloe vera on before you go out let it dry in then apply your sun lotion it actually does work preventing sun burn especially on children.

Another lovely video, it’s great to see your hands, rather than keeping them hidden. I know there is always something going on in Lanzarote but don’t forget the cinema in the Biosphere. An easy(ish) walk for most people in PdC especially when not everyone has a car to travel around the island.
