Hello Everyone!! Today I'm sharing a super delicious recipe of Lao Gan Ma Chili Crisp with Shiitake Mushrooms! This chili crisp is super tasty and can be applied to noodles and rice to create explosive flavors! I love the shiitake mushrooms in this sauce and they add so much texture and flavor! If you love Lao Gan Ma, you have to give this one a try! We are making chili flakes from scratch too and it's honestly the most satisfying process when making this sauce. Roasting dry chilies creates a beautify aroma and it literally makes me happy!

Ingredients used in this video:
Oil 2 cup (You can use rapeseed oil, canola oil, or other neutral oil)
Fresh Shitakii mushroom 200 g
Dry Chili pepper 60g (Link to the variety I use: amzn.to/3Acmx3Z)
Doubanjiang 60g (amzn.to/3w0aVQ0)
Douchi or Chinese Fermented Soybean 40g (amzn.to/3QqzMET)
Green onion (white part): 40g （finely chop ）
Ginger 10g
Garlic 10g
Soybean paste 10g (amzn.to/3AhfDLH)
Peanuts 30g
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Sichuan Peppercorn powder 1/2 tsp (amzn.to/3dg9vKG)

Great video! I love this stuff but always buy it from my local Asian market. Please keep up the great videos. It's only a matter of time if you keep going until this channel gets big. I genuinely believe Sichuan cuisine is amongst the best in the world, and better in my opinion than French or Italian cuisine. It's not that people don't love genuine Sichuan food, it's that far too few have ever really experienced it. Oh btw I'm going to my favorite Sichuan restaurant I've ever been to tomorrow so I'm super excited. It's pretty far away so I only get to go like once a year.

I am running outta Lao Gan Ma currently, and I was curious if I could make it at home in a larger batch with MORE peanuts! The store bought one never has enough peanuts for me, I love the chewy spicy peanuts the most. Now I found one with Mushrooms too?! I'm in heaven, so now I need to add more mushrooms and more peanuts. So excited to try and make this, though some of these ingredients may be hard to find in Finland even in our asian markets.
