After getting off the InDrive (Lao Uber) Amanda and I decided to stop by Sihom for some are breakfast.
This street food place in Center Point Sihom sells noodle couple (khao piek senh) as well as other dishes. Their coffee is also great.
Some people say Laos is expensive compare to neighboring countries but in our experience it all depends where you go. The bowl of noodle soup was $0.87 USD which was affordable for a tourist, imo.

In Canada, the United States, and parts of Europe, we don't think of breakfast like that. It's usually, cereal, eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage, along with coffee, or tea. That type of breakfast you are eating is common in other parts of the world. In places like Latin America, South America, and Asia, their breakfast would seem like dinner to us. They do make soup with offal cuts of meat. That's a very inexpensive, yet very hearty soup you are eating. Offal cuts are great. I did notice a Laotian/Thai restaurant, not long ago.
