bro, did u need a Laos embassy approval form for Malaysia vehicle to enter Laos? first time i enter Laos in my malaysia van at Chiang Khong no issues, now I at Vientiane/Nong Khao border to enter Laos, they say need embassy form.

I entered via chiang khong got no such requirement. Yes, dont enter via Vientiane. I heard they will ask approval letter from Laos Embassy.

@@59Wanders same I had no issues at Chiang Khong just 4 weeks ago. Yesterday I was rejected at both Vientiane/Nong Khao crossing then drove 4hrs to Namhon Phanom Laos crossing and got rejected again, they mentioned embassy approval for vehicle entry.. i am gonna do Chiang Khong already next time.. thank you for replying!

Hi bro, sorry to trouble 🙏🏼 I have entered cambodia via O Smack north crossing.. they don't sell insurance for Malaysia cars there, i found one in Siam Reap called Caminco Insurance 125USD for a year.. could I ask how did u settle ur car's insurance? 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

@bokchoy.travels not at all 👍 we entered via Ban Pakkad - Phsar Phrum border and we could not too, find an insurance to purchase so we entered without insurance. We only spent 3 days in Cambodia and we exited at Osmach - Chongchom border. We drove super carefully during our trip in Cambodia.
