Interesting work Jeroen. It is always good to look at different ideas. I like the image of the female arriving on the branch with the light in the background. Cheers Keith

the sitting Kingfisher excellent images and great video

I thought so too. Flying is nice but the composition is not doing it for me...

All the images were stunning. If I had to choose it would be the last one with the Kingfisher looking away into the sun. Great Vlog, really enjoy the remote camera setup videos 👍🏻

super cool man! Ive tried this with the belted kingfisher here in America with no luck so know how hard it can be. Really like the last image, the mist is super helpful.

Love your videos. For me the one arriving on the brench is more special, because of the action in the shot, but the fog of the otter photo I prefer.
@weylintracking-worldwide3 жыл бұрын
The action I like too... Its only the composition that is not working for me...

I never really experiment with wide angle so great to see, don't normally get that close ! Great work would probably be wearing wellies !!

Leeches 😬 Yeuch!! I am not very good with wide angle lenses Jeroen but I really think that on full frame a 16mm would be ample for wildlife. I used to have a 10-22 for my apsc bodies (16-35 eqv on FF) but I found I rarely used it, especially for wildlife. My widest lens now is a 24mm.on ful frame but even that I don't use much. Mind you, I probably don't have as creative a mind as yourself and so I really should try a bit harder with it. It certainly adds another dimension to your images.
@weylintracking-worldwide3 жыл бұрын
I think I will use it mostly in a cameratrap situation Robert. And, you have some amazing creative photos Robert! Don't underestimate your creativity :)

Leuk Jeroen! Eerste keer dat ik iemand een wide angle zie gebruiken in Wildlife Photography. Interessant!
@weylintracking-worldwide3 жыл бұрын
Echt? Ik heb wel vaker groothoeken gebruikt, zoals bij de otter in de gracht... Maar 12mm is zover wel het meest extreme inderdaad :)
@CenturionKill3 жыл бұрын
Hoi Jeroen. Die heb ik ook gezien, dat leek mij niet zo extreem als dit toch? Ik vind dit een heel leuk perspectief.
