Zwift is an online game for cyclists and runners. With a smart trainer and a bike, any cyclist can enter the virtual world and compete against other riders from around the world. Zwift has many maps, consisting of mythological worlds and real-life cities. Each rider can decide to ride around solo, with friends, or even join a race against similar-level cyclists from around the world. On this channel, my goal is to share the world of Zwift! I hope you all enjoy exploring Zwift as much as I do.

Haha, yeah…that cadence was way to low 😅

I did this race yesterday. That incline after the finish line caught me by surprise a couple times. Had to catch back on on both 2nd and 3rd lap.

Yeah, that’s a good point to push! There’s enough elevation to make this a tactical race

Thanks! I like the new trainer, just need to get the virtual shifting fully figured out for sprints. It’s overall much smoother though

Nice.. power is coming back ;-) I enjoy your video's and am glad that your sound and background noise is much smoother without the 'real' shifting.

Hey thanks! I’m happy with the new setup so far. Hopefully I’ll continue to work out the kinks and get some more good racing in 👍

@@CaedmonCyclingyes but they are really low B Cat racers slowing down 80% effort to keep them in C Cat to get to the podium in C.

Yeah, definitely understand. I like to think that’s just making me stronger too if there’s some low Bs as well in these races

Awesome effort mate - well done.. that was a fast group, over 10 secs faster than our race with similiar numbers.. fantastic!

Hell of an effort. And if you've lost fitness, I want to lose some, too. If my HR got into the mid-180s I would be sucking wind like a vacuum cleaner and I certainly wouldn't be able to talk.
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 3 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks! I don’t like hanging out in the 180+ range either haha, but unfortunately the short races just don’t offer breaks to get that HR down 😅

There are outstanding 15s sprinters among the top C riders. However, your one and five-minute efforts are next level. You should try an early sprint next time. I don't think they have a chance.

Yeah, that’s a good point. It’s tough because I’m always trying to relax after the pace is fast for a bit. Maybe those are the best times to keep driving the pace knowing that everyone is probably hurting just as much as I am! Their avatars just don’t show it haha

The other thing is I wish there was a way to change your virtual gear setup. At times on downhill sprints (beach) I can feel a little spun out, but I’m a bigger guy that grinds more than high cadence spin sprints
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 3 ай бұрын
Yeah, the current gearing is plenty for me, as I clearly showed in my sprint I have no risk of spinning out 😅 I suppose a front chainring change could make a difference, assuming you’re already on the big ring

@@CaedmonCycling apparently ring doesn’t matter as trainer self calibrates on each ride

Do you use the big ring or little ring on Hub One? Do you think it matters?
@CaedmonCycling
@CaedmonCycling 3 ай бұрын
I use the small ring because it lines up better with the hub in the back and seems to minimize the misaligned derailleur issues I was having. That being said, I don’t think it matters. Although I’d assume the big ring is more popular. Whichever works best for you and creates the smoothest drivetrain

Switched over to hubone on 11/1/23 from Core. I did notice a slight loss of wattage vs the One but don’t really care.

Ahh, interesting. I’ve noticed my power seems smoother. Don’t have enough miles in to see if there’s a big wattage difference. At least nothing noticeable yet!
