Thanks for cover. Already got a LePatrie Nylon , but looking for buy a thin-acoustic for the stage and recording. Definitely make me interest in it after your review.

Cool review, I've been shopping for a good budget-friendly electro-classical guitar, and my heart has settled for the Arena Mahogany CW QIT. Beautiful guitar and I love the sound coming from the electronics. Some have mentioned an unevenness in string volumes, but most seem to be ok from what I see. I found a few used ones that I will try out. Fingers crossed, wish me luck! :)

Nice playing and demo, How would you rate that neck, thicker or thinner? Thanks
@Tune4media5 жыл бұрын
cwsgershwin Thank you, I would say it feels a bit thicker than a typical Spanish classical guitar. But not dramatically different.

I’m just looking for something comfortable to play at home, maybe with friends and family from time to time. Do you think the tone and volume unplugged would be good enough for that? If the “mic input” section is the acoustic sound, it actually sounds pretty good to me
@Tune4media4 жыл бұрын
Besides from lacking some bass if compared to a full body classical guitar, the tonal quality of this instrument is beautiful and the volume is more or less equal to a traditional guitar
@kylemundt49444 жыл бұрын
tune4media thanks for the reply. I’m considering this and a Taylor academy nylon. Can’t get my hands on one of these in store but it looks more comfy with the cutaway and thin body

What is the action like? I am seriously considering ordering one, but all the new classical guitars seem to all have high action, I havent seen one of these in person. Thanks for a response.

I have another traditional Spanish 'Admira' guitar, and when I compare the two, it feels like the LaPatrie is a bit lower than the Admira.

@@gotem7749 Thank you very much for the reply. I had doubts about the volume and the sound of them without using an amplifier, but then you tell me that it sounds good that way too? I ask because in all the videos it is amplified.

How to use or set the Q2T pickup ? Or manual?
@Cloydfunk4 жыл бұрын
How does the tone and projection of this guitar compare to the LaPatrie Presentation or Collection?
@Tune4media4 жыл бұрын
I honestly don't know. What I can say is that relative to a typical classical guitar, it has a pretty bright and well-defined tone, it has pretty decent volume but lacks some low-end (if played acoustically)
@omikenobi4 жыл бұрын
Can you comment on the playability of this guitar? How is the action at higher frets?
@Tune4media4 жыл бұрын
If I will dig deep enough, I think I could say that it feels a bit lower than a traditional setup, but it's very well balanced and it feels great.

Does this model have the Q1 electronics or the Crescent II system? Which one would you recommend? Thank you for a great review.
@Tune4media4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! It comes with the Q1. I don't have experience with the Crescent II so I can't compare them. I can, however, say that this is one of the nicest pickups I ever played.

If being picky about it, to me it does feel like there's a bit imbalanced neck to body relationship, but honestly, it feels so small to me that it's pretty much insignificant

DUDE!!!! la patrie is not a Company .... GODIN is the company who have several brand as La patrie/Seagull/Art & Lutherie/Godin guitars
@Tune4media4 жыл бұрын
Maybe you're right. My guess is that LaPatrie is one of Godin's subsidiaries (which of course still makes it a company) In LaPatrie's website there isn't a place where Godin is mentioned (not that I can find) but on the guitar itself they wrote 'part of the Godin family', so to be honest, I don't really know their legal status. For the end-costumer, it looks like a 30+ years old company that has some type of cooperation with the bigger and well known Godin.
