Do you like this hood? It’s one of my favorite. In this video, I show you how to draft patterns. You’ll learn two different ways of construction. You can have a seam between the front and hood. Or you can eliminate the seam and make one piece of the front with a hood. Have fun!

This is a great video. By chance how would one draft a hood for this coat from a shop brought coat?

Did you mean that making a hood pattern for the coat you already have?

@diamondxoxoxo the front and hood is one piece. You have to replace the whole front if you want to make what I showed in the video. Instead, you can measure the neck length and make hood and attach it to the coat.
