Lapidary on a budget

Do you want to make jewelry at home? perhaps you are a Rock hound and you want to start turning your finds into cabochons. well this is how it's done, at home, basically a garage, using the most budget tools I can get away with!
When ever I vend at festivals I tell people I will give discounts for rocks they have found. just because I'm not able to walk enough to get the stones doesn't mean I can't find solutions, and people do. so, today. I am breaking out the tile saw I got from harbor frieght for 50$, my dremel, and experimenting abit. And I am very happy with the results! Very inventive! I love use of the sticky discs! I'll be stealing that idea for sure! Thanks for sharing. It stinks when stones break, but it is part of it. (not that we have to like it lol)

Thank you! Yea, the sticky disks was a neat idea. It deffinitly helps when you can't afford 60$ wheels, tho I do hope I can afford to get a 400 and a 1000 grit wheel, I think that would be perfect. I have a spare motor using 3inch wheels with about a half inch arbor, I'm keeping my eyes open for a wheel that will fit onto that. Cause I'd love to make a cab machine set up for under 200$ and I think I'm close lol. Anyway, thanks again for the love and watching
