When you talked about Yeshua and how Isaac carried the wood like one going to be crucified, and how Mount Moriah where Isaac was offered is the same location as Yeshua's crucifixion, it made me wonder if the soldiers who made the crown of thorns may have gotten the thorny branches from the same bramble bush that Hashem tangled Isaac's "ram in the thicket" in? Just a thought.

In the shacharit section of the Siddur, taken from Talmud Yoma 33a, speaking of the afternoon elevation-offering, it states " 'upon it' [the elevation-offering] you are to complete all the [day's] offerings". Does this mean that the burnt portions of the offerings were put on top of the afternoon elevation-offering (the last sacrifice of the day)? And would this account for the 40ish years that the sacrifices continued until the destruction of the temple?

Hello Rabbi and Rebbetzin... Rabbi... I'm a little confused... when I was cross referencing the crowing of the cock...even the Hebrew Bible says it was a rooster... does any Bible out get it right...
@LapidJudaism Жыл бұрын
They are wrong. It wasn’t a bird. There were no roosters in Jerusalem.
