something to say, lapix also calls his hitech style "HITECH FULLON", which might be what is the full name of the genre he makes the most. kinda like how camellia and kobaryo's speedcore sound nothing like the speedcore you find everywhere else.

you can say Hi-Tech is a sub-genre of Techno with the influence of complextro, psytrance and sometimes can be more hardcore (if the bpm above 170). FYI, lapix has his second name, Hi-Tech Ninja. Lapix appears more often in the most of arcade games (sound voltex, beatmania, etc), while Hi-tech Ninja appears more often in mobile games (Arcaea, Cytus 2, etc.)

Ultra funktion pt2 is incredible 😂 Then again the entire “perfect comes” album is. 🤣 Lapix is seriously amazing, hard to believe I literally listened to his music and watched him grow without even realizing it until now! ❤

Ahhh I'm so glad we made it! You have my eternal thanks m8. Can't wait for your music reviews too. your scripts are so good, the way you describe music always help me to empathize with your music tastes

Of course man :) There was a lot less history on lapix than other artists but did my best with it. Can't wait to get the reviews out!

@@rinnythe16th I think you did great, listening to artist's older works is so gratifying. Oh on the weirdness of hi tech and genre classifications I always believed there were elements of future bass mixed with psy trance, specifically the Japanese "kawaii future bass" sound

Hilariously I changed my name right after my inclusion! Lol. I'm rebranding cause I'm gonna try youtube in earnest. Watching you grow from frame zero has been really inspirational to me. I can't say exactly what kind of channel I'll become but I know rhythm games will be involved among other things.

You're right about the future bass sound; in fact I'm pretty sure there are some instances where lapix does pure future bass, the one I remember most was a section in Ultra Funktion. But man thats so sick to hear, you have no idea how happy I am that I've inspired you! Can't wait to see what you have in store mate; if you need help/wanna collab or anything dont hesitate to hit me up :)

Hi, just found your channel and I have to say that it is seriously impressive stuff. I've been following Doujin circles since I started playing Jubeat sometime around 2012 and I listen almost exclusively to J-core / Doujin stuff. And I never knew all these things. I am definitely looking forward to your future uploads. After watching all your videos so far, I find lapix the most interesting, because I enjoy the music but I'm not into the whole BMS scene and seeing artists like lapix covered was a good inclusion. I've read some comments on your other videos so I know you already have plans on God Camellia but I hope you'll cover my favourite artists such as USAO, MNK, Genki, Hommarju, etc All the best for your channel and I'll be supporting you. ☺

Hey, I'm glad you're enjoying my vids so far! I'm hoping one day to cover as many of them as possible but it'll definitely take a while since they take time to make (and also depends on if they'd make a good video haha). Thanks for watching mate, appreciate it

my god, I found out about Mystical Complex a few months before I saw your video, and I was so surprised of finding a hitech track so old. Didn't even realize that was one of lapix's original inspirations...
