Beautiful! Her voice has changed compared to her "from Lara with love" concert. Which is natural. But one of her many strengths is that she sings in the moment and she change some parts here and there which is really cool. I agree with you, you feel lost of words to describe her. Thanks a lot! 😍

I like your reaction. Lara Fabian is an exceptional artist. You should know that this performance in Russia with Igor Krutoy comes months after a serious accident caused by a sound technician in which she went completely deaf for weeks. If you watch her ADAGIO LIVE FROM LARA WITH LOVE, you can easily see that she is explosive and in possession of all her means. After the accident, even his pronunciation changed. When she says WHEN YOU BELIEVE after her accident, you can hear BE LIVE very well instead of believe. It's a small detail, but she remains one of the best singers with an extraordinary voice. To get a really good idea of her voice, you have to listen to BROKEN VOW FROM LARA WITH LOVE. A masterpiece. Thank you from Montreal.

Hello Pierre, thank you for your comment and explaining about the accident. Poor Lara - that's dreadful for an Artiste of any kind. Look at Michael Jackson getting his hair burned while filming a Pepsi Ad. People think showbiz is easy - I'm in the media and have been for a long time and been with many Stars and singers so I know. I also play the piano so I understand performance, music etc. (Look at my Community Page). I've also noticed that non English speaking singers tend to sing Me as MAY quite a lot. I'll try and view it in my personal time as I show a lot of artists. I just pick out some to showcase, so the appreciation is in that I show them at all - so thank you very much Pierre. If people want to dig further, the they can, as they have an idea of whom she is as showing her is just a taster. At some point In the future Broken Vow will be played. Albinoni's Adagio has long been my favorite too! And when I discovered first Fabian then her pop trearment of it with her brilliant lyrics (she also wrote an Italian version) I was seriously in heaven. 😁 I so admire that she is an all-around artist: vocalist, composer,, lyricist - in four languages. Wow. (I've heard that proper pronunciation - in whatever language she's singing in - is an obsession of hers. Must be the 10 yrs of classical training. I love it.) Another wonderful reaction. She's simply phenomenal. I get taken away by her vocals sometimes like I'm floating. When she sings in French to English I think the difference is the emphasis on words is different. Some words are easier to belt at different times depending on the language. I think many sound different when they switch languages. She sounds spectacular in any language she sings. We're as grateful for you as you are to us. I LOVE stopping in to spend a bit and watch videos. Cheers.

When she was singing this she was in her 40’s. The performance from "Lara with love" would have been a better choice for this particular song, because she was in her prime in that concert. And just all the songs from that concert are gorgeous because she’s at the peak of her vocals.

Definitely agree. And why is she singing the 'eee' vowels as 'aay' here? Me is sung as may, believe is sung as belayve". Perhaps a deterioration of her vocal ability.

@@abc456f I believe so. Iirc, I once saw a vid of a vocal coach that explained it is easier to do this way. In a way, it’s a cheat. By replacing the vowels, you’re able to sing that word on a higher note, that you would not be able to hit singing the original vowles

Obviously, but I'm not here to dig deep into the mechanics of all the Minors and every note in between, I'm simply saying that the general backdrop of the music is 'similar- - not exactly but 'similar'. If this were a classical channel I could understand but it's a little sharp for just saying it reminded me of that.

It's actually nice to see a different performance used. I love From Lara With Love, but she is so much more than that. This song is a love song to the powers of inspiration begging for them not to abandon her. Being a songwriter is this important to her.

Lara is one of my forever favourite artist, ever since I have heard her sing her song "Tout". In general, great french singer, when sing, they pronounce each words very crystal clear, so for me, it has not been a surprise when singing in english that she have keep that same tones, even when she sing in italian, even if you don't understand the words, but the tones is still the same. P.s. If ever you do another reactions to another Lara's song, I would like to recommend you "Aime", for me, it is one of her very sweet and poignant song. And even if you don't do a reactions, have a listen to, it is worth it

One other voice you should explore is Amy Lee of Evanessence . Do the live versions because they excell, of My Immortal and Bring me to Life, with her playing the Piano !

I know a lot of people love DImash but I can't realy enjoy any of his performances. Where he sings a Lara song I feel he is butchering it. Art is like that, you either enjoy it or not and it's not right or wrong because it's a matter of personal taste. That was a good performance (can Lara do anything else?) but it was really muted compared to her performance of that song during the "From Lara with Love" concert. That performance blew the roof off right into the stratosphere! I strongly suggest you watch it!

Sublime - sublime - Peter Alix, 🌹 just fantastic - thank you. I have a playlist on Lara so check it out. I recently played Llora which is more recent and to me it is equally as beautiful. Also, most people don't know, which shows no one really does their homework, but I am Amazing Woman Of The Year 2021 finalist after beating thousands of people to be the last 3, which was actually unbeknown to me. I fight many things but one of them is Ageism, and it's interesting how this has played out with certain acts as I see all the analytic stats, comments etc. you have no idea what this comment means to me.
