Hi sir, Lara is one of the greatest voices of all time. You discovered our favorite singer 4 years ago and you still continue to listen to her. A lot of reactors like you say she's great and she's extraordinary, but after 4 or 5 songs, they're done with her, which proves that they don't want to discover more. You are still there and you do her honor by coming back to her again. I know you really appreciate it because you take so much pleasure every time. I thank you for continuing to share it with us and I hope that you will continue to do so. I suggest you some songs from his album "Wonderful Life" which are magnificent. Hope to see you. Be well. You're great!

She improvised a little from the record but made it even better. And my brother, please, it's Lara not Laura. Her record company wanted her to be this, a dance song singer. But she could sing this in her sleep. And with Celine Dion's management sabotaging her at every chance they got, this is why Lara only had this one hit in america and then disappeared from the music scene in the U.S. Now, 20+ years later, thanks to KZbin, she's being discovered here as one of the greatest to ever do it.

How did Celine's management sabotage her?
@ifyoucanttakeitback6153 жыл бұрын
@@justian428 René Angélil & his team (Celine's team) ask Tommy Mottola to do it & just allow Lara to sing generic dances songs like this one up there & wanted her to be thiner & half naked... Lara said no obviously so they call it quit.
@celinesparadise3 жыл бұрын
That doesn't make any sense... Why would they sabotage her, if her album was released during Celine's hiatus from the show business??? In fact, the recording company choose this moment and tried everything to make Lara the "new Celine Dion"... from 2000 to 2002 Celine was in her brake. You need to inform yourself better. And if you watched the most recent Lara's documentary from illico, you would see that Lara herself told the reason why her english carreer was not successful... it was a sum of personnal issues, the recording company, and the people who worked with her. So don't blame Celine or René for something they didn't do.
@celinesparadise3 жыл бұрын
@@ifyoucanttakeitback615 like I said in the other commentary, that's not true. And even if this was the truth, do you think that Lara would continue to love and always say good things about Celine? In the documentary I mentioned, she even spent some time speaking well of Celine and singing along with the Courage CD... So stop giving life to the lie that is this rivality between them.

@@celinesparadise Dion's management saw Fabian as a direct threat to the audience Dion was marketed to. They played a part in Sony reneging on their promise to Fabian that she work with certain other artists and in their shunting her into genres away from that which Dion had planted her flag. Fabian herself has admitted this is what went on. She dosen't hold it against Diin and chalks it up to Business. I personally think she probably dodged a bullet given her nature and her drive to write her own material as the muse moves her. But there's no need to white-knight for Dion or her suits. It is what it is.

I don't actually like this song much either. It doesn't help that the line "I would die for you gladly" makes me sprain my eyes badly from rolling them violently every single time I hear it. 🤣 I have liked others of her dance songs a lot though - like the second song of the double feature reaction you had of hers a few days ago and some newer ones. Great reaction again.

@@skurinski You're ridiculous. It's a bubblegum pop song with an awkwardly metered and silly lyric. The very syntax of it is unnatural and not standard informal English which makes it extra pretentious and hilarious. Come on now. We are not talking about potentially sacrificing one's life in the attempt e.g. to save a child in danger. Good lord. There's not enough eyerolls on the internet for you. 🤣

She was tossed away in the USA to not be in competition with the other like Mariah Carey … they ended her career in the US .

@@DoggieFosters I find Lara Fabian to be more talented and refined as a singer than Celine, whether people want to hear it or not. She definitely could've been a success in the USA. Lara reminds me of Nanette Workman who also made it big in Canada & Europe but unheard of in the USA.
