She is loved. Adored by her followers ( including me of course), look up concert 2002, sbe had had personal issues. Almost gave up singing, audience did no allow her to sing, they sang The song Je t'aime. It says I love you, but audience sang We love you. Emotional?? I've watched it countless times, and still does a number on me .

The song is in French. Lara sings in French, Italian, Spanish, -English and some others. She is a phenomenal powerhouse. The concert was in 1999 I believe. Lara is Belgian/Canadian.

Lol No she didn't. She performed this song as an example of how music and emotion transcends language. If you watch the full video, it literally shows an interview with her saying just that before the song starts. I would ask you where you got your little story from, but the smell of shit in the air gives me a good idea.

Lara’s Version is incomparable. But their is an Internationally known world class 4 member crossover vocal harmony group from South Korea called “Forestella” with millions of followers and they give an incredible performance of je suis Malade. Your goosebumps will have goosebumps! And your face might be inundated with tears. It’s a sad song and they illicit the sadness but their harmonies are angelic. Their mother tongue is korean and they probably spent months training for this and mastering French and performed it in front of their home crowd of thousands of fans. You tube “Forestella Je Suis Malade” You will thank me if you do react publicly or if your subscribers privately react. All love, All

"je suis malade" litterally mean "I'm sick" but not in this way, it's more about "maladie d'amour". I don't know how to translate this; maybe "sick love"

"Love sick" may be the term to which you are referring. Lovesickness refers to an affliction or expression of longing or intense feelings associated with a relationship or the absence of a loved one. It can often be associated with depression, sadness, or sense of loss. Lara captures these emotions perfectly in this amazing performance.
