One of the best francophone duets and one of the best songs Lara ever wrote. The english translation is very approximate, it doesn’t have the richness of the french language but the lyrics + their voices = masterpiece. A live version would’ve been better tho. Lara immediately thought about Maurane to sing it with her as they were close friends and it really was the right choice, their voices are perfect for each other, so complementary…they made several duets. Unfortunately, Maurane passed way 4 years ago.

For once Il not agree with you. Je ne suis pas une grande bfan de Lara Fabian mais cette chanson avec Maurane est probablement l une de ses plus belles interprétation avec "Nos coeurs à la fenêtre " chanson pendant le confinement. J ai toujours pensé que Lara Fabian en faisait de trop d ailleurs Maurane lui avait fait la remarque. Elles sont complémentaires et la musique et l harmonisation sont sublimes.

Hello *Derreck,* good Thursday, It's charming and very delicately interpreted. Yet, effectively, I'm also missing something not happening here. On the other hand, the writing is sumptuous, the melody pleasant, and the two voices superbly develop the transition from the verses to the chorus (small bridge). Moreover, the harmony between them is perfect. However, I'm much more dazzled by the literary style than by the emotion that this song gives me. But that's a personal opinion. And I understand, according to our own experience and the problematic or beautiful events that everyone goes through when we receive a song, its apprehension can differ depending on the person. I prefer their voices to the other madwoman with the shrill voice!😁 You had no luck listening to this beautiful song at best because of the music video audio! You should surely listen to it again on Spotify where you have an account or on youtube with a much clearer sound! I remember buying the 2-track CD of this wonderful song in dijipak Limited Edition at the time, the cover of which includes a capture of the clip. And the sound is clean and pure than this video! Their voices are wonderful and powerful! 🙂 This song was released in October 2002 as a fifth single from Lara Fabian's fifth studio album "Nue" (Naked). , ranked no.5 in the TOP 50 and sold 260,000 copies. It was a great success in Fra,ce and also in Belgium ranked no.2 but more moderate in Switzerland, no.23. It evokes friendship as well as the alter ego. In the music video, the two female singers perform the song simultaneously face to face in a room full of mirrors. It was shot in black and white, which gives another dimension to this beautiful song. You should react to this magnificent album by Lara Fabian (Nue) released in 2001, there are very beautiful songs like "J'Y Crois Encore", "Immortelle": my two favorites, "Aimer Déjà", etc... I'm not a 100% fan of Maurane, but I find that she has a very beautiful voice and did good songs in the 80's like "Toutes Les Mamas" and "Pagaille" in 1989 (which was my favorite when I was still in elementary school, very "singable" and the music video looks a bit like that of Desireless "Qui Sommes-Nous" the same year I think!), "Tout Pour Un Seul Homme " (1990) and at the beginning of the 90's my favorite "Ca Casse" in 1991, the music is very good, it sounds a bit "80's" and it's a ballad.
